 Grant Park's Seven Bridges
« Thread Started on Jul 19, 2009, 1:45pm »

On Sat, 7/18, five us went to Grant Park in South Milwaukee and checked out the infamous seven bridges around dusk and stayed until 9pm. Two of us had EMF meters with new batteries and one guy brought his digital camera. Nothing on anyone of them. One gal had divining rods that went crazy; others tried them as well and the rods crossed, did a complete circle, flew up and down and then hit two people on the side of the face. Someone saw blue mist in trees and we felt vibrations underfoot. It wasn't too warm out, but humid and full of mosquitos. I had gotten chills and my neck and arm hair stood on end eight times. Also strong feelings of doom and sadness. Two of had difficulty breathing at times and a dizzy feeling overcame us right by the entrance onto the main bridge.

While looking down a 30 foot drop into the ravine, it did appear to shimmer. On the left side of the ravine was a small white wooden cross with an American flag next to it. Strange. We took a slippery path down into the ravine area and there are several wooden bridges. The aura there is not as intense, yet our group psychic picked up on a lady who had been raped and murdered by two men.

I continued taking pix with the disposable Kodak 35mm camera I had until it was nearly pitch black. I saw white spots while looking down into the ravine that were not street light reflections. If it was birch bark, they sure were white. I did not want to leave and felt very drawn to the main bridge. Worth checking out another time, perhaps when kids are back in school and maybe near a full moon. As it was, there was a wedding in another part of the park and loud music blasting. I also want to check out the beach area which we did not get to because of the wedding party. Conclusion: Definately something is there all around the main bridge and ravine below. Go again: You bet. If I get anything on my film worthwhile, will let you know.

Sounds pretty cool, Carol.

Grant Park is definately on my "To Do" List, for the summer.

Hi it's Carol again. Went to Grant Park alone on 8/31/09 during the day. The entire area has a totally different vibe to it. There was still a vibration underfoot on the main bridge but no problem with breathing or dizziness. The white cross marking a grave(?) and the American flag on the side of the hill by the ravine area are gone. I had my EMF meter, and once again, nothing. Still took a roll of pictures. Back on 7/18 when the group went at dusk, I had taken pix. One picture has a faint mist on it and the other has three very distinct evil faces. One person suggested it could be demons. VERY CREEPY!!! I tried looking for this area again and couldn't find it. Hopefuly I'll get something on film. Please note: there is more grafitti and carvings in the wood bridges by vandals. even spray paint and a large bike rack tossed over the bridge.

I used to live in South Milwaukee and when I was in High School we'd used to hang out a picnic area 5& 6.
We'd used to see red, blue, green and yellow orbs/ lights in the woods but no noises with them so we knew it wasn't any vehicles. All of us felt wierd being there but no of us didn't say anything cause you know you have to be tough since we were in high school.

One time 3 of my friends went into the 7 bridges woods just to walk around late at night cause we had nothing else better to do. Well we encountered fast moving shadows that were darker than night, heavy breathing that seemed to come out of every direction. Yeah we didn't stay to long in there. lol

I did some reasearch and talk to a friend that goes through the parks with his metal detector and he has found Indian arrowheads, musket balls and coins from the early 1800's.

Now the research I did I found out that there are some Indian mound graves in the park... They are not marked because they worry of Vandalism to the graves...
There also has been some Murders, Devil Rituals and animal sacrifices and Suicides in the 7 bridges woods. These are not on official record due to not wanting to scare people away from the area and having your city with a bad name.
