Uhh... Does this really apply to THE UNEXPLAINED Radio Program? Anyway, if you post here no one will answer you because no one reads this section. To answer your question, most things happen at night because spirits go more undisturbed at night. It also has something to do with "Dead Time," a time in the early morning or late night however you want to think about it, at I think 1-3AM because that is 1. When human activity is lowest, and 2. It is said it is the time in which Jesus of Nazareth is said to have resurrected. But that is the religious explanation. Watch old episodes of the canceled show Paranormal State to see what I am talking about and how these investigators used Dead Time to get paranormal phenomena.
