Good Spot and a Question about Meridean

Alright well I live in Spooner if any of you know where that is.

I have been to carryville banburry meridean boat landing but one thing that intrigued me was in the Haunted Wisco book chad says that there is an island out there. Is it possible to get to this island or is it not a good idea to attempt to canoe across.

Second if anyone has any good locations that a"might exist" or have had or heard reports around the eau claire area I would love to hear about them. Me and my buddy once heard about a haunted baby cemetery outside christie mountain near bruce and we found it. It was great to finally find it after we heard so much about it.

well i run a team out of eau claire wis and we have been to marridean i think that the island would be open to the public the only thing is some islands are off limits becuase of bird nesting but other then that the boat landing in right there but it is not in meridean it is closer to carryvile but that whole area is weird sooo o ya the current can be strong right now because the river is very high i fish it alot so i know so be carefull also if u do get a chance we would like to go down there too. the site is www.freewebs.com/cvi08/cvi.htm

Hey we should try to figure out if that island is explorable or not.

If it is I have one friend from Spooner who really likes ghost hunting and paranormal stuff so he would be good to bring with.

But maybe we could try to somehow get across

i found out that it is and there are alot of teen parties there soo all u need is a canoe or kyack

and there was no sanatarium on the island though it was a thriving lumbering town way back when
