About 5 years ago when I was young I tried it, though I said it 13 times. Everything was normal, the door to the bathroom was unlocked, I was alone, no one was f**king with me to scare me either. When I hit 13 the power shut off in the entire house, the door locked, the room went cold, and looking into the mirror behind me was the silhouette of a red blood mary. Of course I screamed and curled into a ball into a corner, a couple seconds the lights turned back on the doors unlocked and everything was back to normal. Weird things have happened in that bathroom ever since.

I did it once on a dare when I was younger and nothing happened. When I came out of the bathroom, my friend screamed because I had cuts down my cheeks like fingernails had been scratched my face but, I didn't feel anything. The cuts bled like crazy though. It really freaked me out.

Hah. Bloody Mary. A couple friends of mine and I were having a sleep over about 7 years ago...I was about 14 or so. I of course thought the whole Bloody Mary thing was stupid and the other girls told me I wouldn't do it...So, I did. I went in the bathroom and said Bloody Mary 3 times in the mirror. Nothing happened. I went back into the room to tell the girls that they were all being ridiculous and this whole trying to freak each other out thing was stupid. I sat on top of the dresser (the dresser was right next to the light switch) and the other 4 girls were on my friend's bed. Within seconds of me sitting up there, the light turned off and everyone started screaming. My friend's mom came running and started yelling at us because the door was locked. (I was the last one in, and I certainly did not lock it.) After about a minute or so the door opened and my friend's mom turned on the lights. She told us all to shut up and start getting ready for bed or else she was going to make us all sleep in different rooms. When she left we looked at my friend's bed and there was blood. We didn't know who it had come from. Then I noticed my friend's leg. She had been cut starting from her knee about 4 inches down. We all decided we weren't going to do Bloody Mary anymore...If that was the reason why the strange things had happened or it wasn't. I'm still not completely convinced on the whole thing though...I still find it stupid. lol.

when i was a kid I was at a slumber party and the girls wanted to do it. I wouldnt out of fear but, they did it anyway. One run out of the bathroom screaming and claimed to have seen someone/something in the mirrior. Later we found out she had joked about it and didnt see anything just wanted to scare the crap out of us.
i personally dont believe in but, I also wont go as far as trying it out. I dont wanna stir up anything in my apartment as it is because i have seen unexplained figure off/on since i lived there.

Even if it is an urban legend, you don't wanna get that stuff in your house or around your family, ya know?
A couple weeks ago I was sleeping over at my best friends house and she decided it would be funny to do Bloody Mary because we were bored out of our minds and it was like, 3 in the morning. So Jami, my friend, goes into the bathroom first, and then tells me she's to scared to go in by herself, so I went in and turned off the light because I didn't want to look like a chicken, even though I strongly believe in not testing the paranormal. So we had the lights off and my hand was on the door handle and Jami said Mary's name 4 times. Immediately the door locked (I could feel the click from the door handle on my hand) and Jami screamed, saying she saw something, but I couldn't see because she was blocking the mirror. So Kodi (Jami's brother) started yelling at us to come out of the bathroom, but we couldn't get the door open, like it was locked from the outside, and Kodi couldn't open it either. After a couple of minutes the door unlocked and Jami and I are freaking out and when we came out of the bathroom, Kodi and Jami started freaking out. When I looked down at my arms (I was wearing a tank top) they had scratches on them and (to my surprise) there was one on my stomach, too. There were 2 on Jami's back. I can most definitely say that Bloody Mary is something I will NEVER do again.

I've tried this one a millions times with different conditions. I heard like 3 different versions of this. One is the one you posted, another is you have to be in a school, and the third was you can be anywhere but have to be with a group of friends. Everytime though nothing happened and it has to happen at midnight, well that's what i heard anyway.

same goes here. i have tried millions of times and never has it worked. i also have tried to do many different types of the story and the same thing nothing. so i think this is busted on a major level.

Yeah, there doesn't seem to be any solid line of experiences, so I can't say it is true. I think the whole concept is generally farfetched anyway.
