Gladly, Los Angeles - Ambassador Hotel - In 2003, during the filming of VH-1's "Random
Play" several crew members reported seeing a ghostly figure appear in a fourth
story window, lean and out and then disappear. Also, lights would inexplicably
turn on and off. Strange cold spots were felt and "shooting lights" were seen in
hallways.

um, yeah out in Beverly Hills, on Cielo Drive where the old Tate residence once stood, is suppose to be haunted by those Manson victims. I would love to go there, there was an episode on Ghost Hunters, but it's privately owned. That would be a great place to visit.

I believe the haunted Queen Mary is docked in Los Angeles. It was psychic Peter James favorite site to investigate.

The Queen Mary, definitely. It's located in Long Beach, CA south of Los Angeles but within LA Country. They have walkthroughs frequently and I believe there is even a "ghost tour".
There are quite a few reported haunting locations in Long Beach. It was founded in 1882 I believe. Rather young in comparison to cities on the east coast but one of the oldest on the west.
I live in the Hollywood area. There are also quite a few "film industry" related hauntings I've heard of but haven't investigated. Some apparitions or orbs said to be found in actual released films. I don't know which ones are authentic.
