Been to Weary Rd 3 times haven't seen anything out of the ordinary--quite disappointed, but like they say when you are looking nothing happens but as soon as your not looking thats when the stuff hits the fan.....I hope to go back soon---I really like the road and the trees very beautiful. J

I must say I love Weary anytime but there is something added to the place when the trees have leaves, it seems more alive. The first time we went it was really erie. We could not notice any wind blowing at all until we got there and as we were driving under the trees we could hear all the leaves rustling, it was awsome...

Well I'll go check out Weary Rd just for kicks. Sounds like that couple you talked to pretty much debunked it for me. Nothing but an urban legend among teens to test their metle. Still it sounds beautiful though and like I said I'll go check it out. Sounds like you go there once a week though and still haven't noticed anything besides ur overactive imagination getting the best of you. The wind blowing corn is just that and god forbid there be roadkill on country roads.. no offense or anything you seem cool but.. roadkill is just something to expect to the person that got all scared cus he saw a dead cat and a woodchuck run across the road..

Yeah, I know roadkill doesn't mean anything. It just sucked because it was fresh and I ran it over, ewwwww. Nothing has really happened since the thing with the black truck and it sounds like that was just a really weird coincidence. Regardless, the place does have really amazing energy, no one who has been there can deny that. We do like to go there a lot, we just feel like the more often we go the more likely it is that something will happen. I haven't been to a lot of places but I must say it's my favorite.

So next time I go to Weary I'm going to go under the bridge. One small benefit of winter. I just hope the ice is frozen enough. I wonder if there is any paint under there. Has anyone ever been in the water there, it looks kind of nasty but I wonder if it safe to swim in and I wonder how deep it is? I don't think I would want to go in the water, but it would make a good dare for someone.

i know it aint very deep but the thing about creeks and stuff is that the ground under the water can sometimes be very very soft and actually act as quick sand and suck you right in, the more you struggle the deeper in you get stuck.
That water most likely is frozen. I dont think it could hurt you to swim in it but at one time there were 3 dumped whitetailed deer laying in the very side edge of the creek under the bridge.
I've been in that area about 100 times its public land on both sides cause i hunt it and the land owners name in ronald drendel. He lives right around the block of i think tuttle well the first road after the bridge theres i believe a trailer home next to a house with 2 or 3 garages behind it and he can inform you about any of the haunting activity there and acidents.
roads creepy as a coon on somenights and ive heard about half a million stories about it. There use to be a rusty old cross for matthew J. Floyd sticking out of the west side of the road by the cathedral like trees. He died car surfing there i think in 94 or 93 and was from evansville.
If brave enough you can walk into the dense woods to the north and into the driveway by the bridge all the way back its public land.

Yeah that settles it for me... Weary Rd is fake if you ask me. I still haven't checked it out. I got the Wisconsin Road Guide to Haunted Locations though (great read) and it has this location along with the bridge included. Upon investigation they note that not a single death has ever ocurred on this road, and the only thing true is that there was a Weary family that lived on the road. They were upstanding citizens of the community though and in fact their house still stands today. Like I said though in the interest of being thurough I will check it out 3 times (like they say you don't see anything til ur 3rd visit) and turn the car off on the bridge as the dare says. Also on a side note, anyone else interested in getting their own copy of the Wisconsin Road Guide will probably want to go to Amazon or some other online store, as the book is out of print and you probably won't have much luck at local bookstores.

You may be right, there may be nothing to it, but I would like to set the record straight. Matthew Floyd did die car surfing on Weary Rd, and The Weary Home was burned down to build a new house on the site, you can see a picture I took of the property on this post.

I don't know who's video it is but I am getting annoyed with all the videos that make fun of the road. People keep creating cheesy videos of them getting attacked there. I wish that they would stop or at least if they are going to make fake videos they could make them more scary.

exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats exactly how I feel!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The one group wasn't even telling why the road is haunted, or any vibes they had or feelings, instead they were blaring their music and swearing and acting like they were 10 years old .
