Be sure to buy the "Wisconsin Road Guide" book, that is authored by Chad and Terry (site owners of this site).

It's awesome information... even if they tell more on the lore and nonconclusive findings of theirs.
I have a road guide in the house (signed!) and then one in the car... and when I am traveling around the state -- I get the book out and make an unexpected stop. Their road directions on finding places is quite well, too...
