eidolonshade, the "urban legend" known as "Bloody Mary" is fascinating and I'd love to take part in a serious discussion of it's origins.
however....
supposed "necromancy cults" are a whole different story and there is no way I'd ever show any respect for such nonsense.
this is a great example of why this forum is practically "dead" (no pun intended) - people who want to have serious discussions about matters of the paranormal are pretty much "run off" by babbling idiocy such as the tales of this necromany cult guy.
Now - you certainly don't have to "feel me" (a nice handshake would more than suffice) but don't tell me to respect nonsense or expect me to pay any attention to people like you who try to dictate what I'm supposed to take seriously.

ok....sorry if that was "overly harsh" eidolonshade, but telling people to pull their heads out of their butts really isn't going to make this forum overflow with activity..... You had a point, though - this topic was about the INFAMOUS LEGEND OF BLOODY MARY so let's get back to that! I had grown up believing the whole "Bloody Mary thing" was based on Mary, Queen of Scots - but I just did some googling and I found out that's a common misconception - Bloody Mary wasn't Mary, Queen of Scots at all....it was her cousin Queen Mary Tudor of England! The rest of the details are pretty debateable - but Queen Bloody Mary had a lot of people executed during her short reign, and she acquired a reputation for being pretty evil. Here's a site that gives a pretty good "over view" of the whole Bloody Mary legend.... www.the-tudors.org.uk/bloody-mary-legend.htm

I've actually known that for years, thanks for reminding me, and I myself am sorry for my comment. There has just been a few people who really do need to pull their heads out and take a good look around. Supernatural things are around us everyday and necromancy is just a fancy name for devil worshiper. Trust me I live not far from a horror house that devil worshipers used for spells. There are a lot of dark souls where I live because of this. But there will be dark souls everywhere. I think most of the Bloody Mary things around the country have more to do with deaths in individual towns then with the actual Bloody Mary, well unless you live in England then BEWARE!!

sooooooo....
you're saying that Sonofdeath's NECROMANCY CULT is a form of "devil worship" huh?
I don't know, eidolon, I've got a feeling it's just something this person decided to talk about on a little used internet message board because he/she liked the way it sounded.
I really don't think there are many "devil worshippers" running around....not "real" ones, at least.
"Wicca" is a real "belief system" that absolutely has "followers" - and I've met a few people who practice it as their "religion"....but Wicca has nothing at all to do with "devil worship".....
I guess, technically, you're talking about "Satanism" - but that term encompasses a large variety of groups, beliefs, tradtions, etc....it's not really one sect or defined organization with an agreed upon "school of thought" - even the infamous CHURCH OF SATAN (founded by Anton LaVey back in the '60s) didn't really "worship the devil" in the way that you mean it.
But when you're talking about "devil worship" in the whole context of stuff like Sonofdeath's NECROMANCY CULT - you're really talking about bored teenagers who think "devil worship" just sounds cool. It's not really anything to take seriously.

I can't believe this necromancy stuff is still being talked about..I've played as a necromancer in video games in the past but thats about it for me..If there was a real necro,it could be pretty sweet..hahaha..Bobby I've noticed you're a major skeptic in all aspects of paranormal..

Hi Jonny!
let's see....I don't know if I'd say I'm a "skeptic" because I believe in the "possibility" of the paranormal...or, maybe I should say that I believe in the possibility of the supernatural.
I've known people that I've absolutely trusted who have described having "experiences" that are definitely very, very strange (to say the least) - and there is no obvious "non-paranormal" explanation for what they've experienced. I don't just jump to the conclusion that these people are lying or anything like that.
In fact, I really think that most people have some sort of bizarre "experiences" that they just can't explain at some point in their lives. I've had a few weird experiences, too....
It's these "real" experiences that I find fascinating! I wonder if we all have some sort of "encounter with the supernatural" at some time in our lives?
But I also think a lot of times, people will "interpret" something to be "supernatural" when it really isn't....and then - well, you can't deny that a lot of people just like to make things up, too. I guess I'm just kind of tired of people making things up....but I really like to hear about "real" experiences!

I agree with you bobby, to be honest I have had several Supernatural experiences. you may not believe me but I've seen a felt too many strange things not to believe in ghosts and the everyday paranormal. My mother is an non practicing wicca for heaven sake and she passed on that gift to me. She dreams of whole days, actually days that she's had and I can see and feel ghosts on a regular basis. Trust me I know this and I'm a skeptic on some things. It's what every one should be a skeptic and a believer! sorry if I sound preachy!

Hey Bobby, Glad to see you think this way..You've seemed to be the biggest skeptic to me trying to debunk everyone's experiences but I guess you've got a different perspective than I thought.. Hi Jonny! let's see....I don't know if I'd say I'm a "skeptic" because I believe in the "possibility" of the paranormal...or, maybe I should say that I believe in the possibility of the supernatural. I've known people that I've absolutely trusted who have described having "experiences" that are definitely very, very strange (to say the least) - and there is no obvious "non-paranormal" explanation for what they've experienced. well....I don't want to come across like I'm really into "debunking" or anything!
that would pretty much be impossible on a message board like this anyway.
-and I really don't find anything "wrong" with people "telling stories" on the internet...but one of the things that I really think was a good idea by the owners of this forum was the addition of "The Teenagers Board" - it seems like the "intention" was to give the "younger crowd" their own place to say whatever they'd like - while leaving other forums free for more adult discussion.
Like I said earlier - I honestly believe that most people have "experiences" that just can't be explained at some time in their lives....I don't know what these things really mean (and I don't know if anybody does) but I seriously find all of this to be interesting....that's the only reason I ever posted on here. And you can tell that some people who have posted on here are being very serious (and truthful) about things that have happened to them.
OH - and eidolonshade, I don't mean to come across like I have any negative attitude about you!!!!
I guess I didn't like the "take your heads out of your asses" comment, but everything that you've said in the different topics on here (on the subject of the paranormal) comes across like you are being very truthful and sincere - not "seeking attention" or anything like that!
I said earlier that I've also known a few people who have practiced Wicca - and these seemed like very nice and VERY NORMAL people! Actually, they seem a little more "normal" than some more "conventional" religious fanatics that I've met - so I really try not to be overly judgemental about anybody's beliefs!

I thank you on that and again very sorry. Anything I say on here on anything is my honest opinion or observation or even things I've actually had happen. The only reason I'm negative towards anyone on here is because there has been several ignorant people or those who should actually get off the sight all together. It just makes me mad that they deface other peoples knowledge or beliefs. I guess I should have read other things you have written before I said that to you but I believe Jonny deserves it still.

Me??I think it's you who needs to remove your head from your ass..You're talking nuts and have no idea who I am besides that I made a joke about necromancy..Maybe if you read my other posts, you'd see that I am actually on the site(not sight) because I believe and want to discover more..Yeah,I think some people skip over facts and think they experienced something..Yet,I believe more than I don't..When I hear someone's experience,I believe them until I can prove that what they said didn't happen..When did I deface other peoples knowledge??When I asked about necromancy,I was serious but played along with Bobby for ONE post..I didn't say anything earlier because I didn't want to start nuts but now that you bring up my name again,I'm sayin something.. I thank you on that and again very sorry. Anything I say on here on anything is my honest opinion or observation or even things I've actually had happen. The only reason I'm negative towards anyone on here is because there has been several ignorant people or those who should actually get off the sight all together.
