According to law, and I'm not sure if its just in California or all over, but if you move into a house of anykind, the landlord/lady has to tell you if its haunted. But here's the catch, they only have to tell you if they know about it.

lol, that's great and stupid. Cause the owner can always turn around and say I didn't know. lol.

True, and thats why its a catch. But I'm sure that when some one makes a claim on a haunting in a house though, that there has to be an investigation, and a written report on it or something.

Most likely, I don't see why not though. You should look around your neighborhood, and scope out houses for rent or sale, and just walk around the property, and sometimes you might be able to pick up on something if there is anything at all.

You never know. I didn't think there were in California, save for Winchester Mansion, but anything else....it wouldn't seem like there were any, until one time at my mema's house...I'll post my experience in a little bit...and then actually paid attention when I was living in my great grandmother's house (I'll post that one up as well). And then I talked to some friends, and found out more and more that there was a lot of places.

Same with me and some of my friends. But those are usually the best kind of friendships. Cookie- thats a good idea, and I'm sure nobody would have tried to change that it is. Theres no harm in finding out. Happy hunting
