As the autumn and Halloween season draws near, Unexplained Research LLC announces its 15th annual lineup of Unexplained Conferences. The event speakers include ghost hunters, paranormal investigators, psychic mediums, authors, and a documentary film director. The speakers will be available for book signings, psychic readings, and a question & answer session.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Empty Bowls of Portage County to raise money for local hunger prevention efforts. In addition, attendees who bring nonperishable food or monetary donations will receive a raffle ticket.
CONFERENCE SPEAKERS AND TOPICS
• "Tribulations of a Ghost Hunter"
Chris Wiener, lead investigator of Chippewa Valley Paranormal Investigators, will address some of the myths commonly associated with ghost hunting and talk about his real-life investigations in the northwoods of Wisconsin.
• “Believers, Debunkers, and Skeptics”
Terry Fisk is a paranormal investigator for Unexplained Research LLC and co-author of five books, including “The Wisconsin Road Guide to Haunted Locations.” Fisk will discuss a variety of paranormal topics including ghosts, mediums, UFOs, aliens, Bigfoot, crop circles, and spook lights. He questions whether these things have been debunked by experts and suggests evidence could be found right here in Wisconsin.
• "Rock 'n' Roll Ghost Researcher"
Susan Masino, author of three books, including “Let There Be Rock: The Story of AC/DC,” will discuss her ghost encounters and amazing coincidences.
• "The Haunted Rogers Theater"
Ben Wydeven, the award-winning director of the horror/thriller film, “The Medium,” will talk about his script that was based on the haunted Rogers Theater in Wausau and filmed on location there.
Shawn Blaschka is the lead investigator and founder of the Wausau Paranormal Research Society. He has conducted five paranormal investigations at the Rogers Theater and will share the results of his research.
• "Adventures in Ghost Hunting"
Tamara Gleason and Dawnette Cook are known as the “Psychic Medium Sisters.” They are also certified hypnotherapists and Reiki Masters. The sisters have worked with the world-famous medium Allison DuBois and will talk about the investigations they have done with the Unexplained Research team.
