It's most likely dust and pollen. When you're outside there's always little particles of dust floating around, especially pollen when you're in a wooded area. It's going to show up when you're using the flash on a digital camera. okay explain to then why was it that when i took another picture seconds later and there was nothing keep in mind there was no wind what so ever.

It is my belief that you just want to be told that it is paranormal and that is that. That is not a proper way of paranormal investigation. You have to consider both ends of the spectrum. It's ridiculous to assume that because there are a bunch of orbs (and yes, orbs are orbs, but not all orbs are paranormal) that automatically it's paranormal. Most commonly a big group of orbs like that are commonly dust motes I'm sorry if you're offended by that, but I would much rather hear someones opinion even if it doesn't resemble mine. So let's try to discern between a misconception and actual paranormal activity. First off, if you're in the woods at night, there is a great possibility there is pollen, dust, and even moisture (which is commonly mistaken for ectoplasm) present. Just because you can't see them, doesn't mean that they are not there. Digital cameras are notorious for picking up those things. Check it out if you don't believe me:
"Due to the size limitations of the modern compact and ultra-compact cameras, especially digital cameras, the distance between the lens and the built-in flash has decreased, thereby decreasing the angle of light reflection to the lens and increasing the likelihood of light reflection off normally sub-visible particles. Hence, the orb artifact is commonplace with small digital or film camera photographs."
Which also explains why if you take a picture and nothing is there, and then you take another one seconds later and something is there. Those few seconds allow for you to move the slightest bit, thus affecting the angle of the light being reflected. If you want to test how steady you really are, try taking a picture with no flash at night with some natural light. See how it turns out, it's guaranteed to be blurry (unless you use a tripod or some makeshift version of one). So please, stop jumping to conclusions and allow yourself to succumb to criticism. Also, please don't misinterpret this reply as disrespectful. I just wish everyone would consider the alternatives before quickly assuming that it's paranormal. That is all I'm trying to say.

im not jumping to the conclusion that its paranormal and i thank you for your explanations and im sorry if what i said before came out in a harsh way because it wasn't meant that way now do you think that stuff would show up on a disposable camera?

Well, that's good to hear, and I appologize for misunderstanding your reply. Unfortunately, disposable cameras tend to pick up orbs because of the placement of the flash. If you can afford one, it's best to use a 35mm camera because the flash is situated above the lense, which well make it less likely to pick up any dust motes or other sub-visible particles. Here's a good website that helps to explain it: www.ghost-tech.com/Orb_Tech.phpAll the camera issues aside, what is the story that goes along with Hobbs Woods, and what has been reported?

From what i know there is no story behind it its just a hot spot i think from all the limestone and the creek running straight through it.
I have also had lots of personal experiences there to from a women talking and screaming to a tall man watching me from the fields i also saw a woman in white a couple times and when my sister was with me she saw lots of things to. and when you are walking the there at night you can sometimes from what it sounds like walking right next to you.

The "ectoplasm" could be breath from the guy taking the pictures. Was it cold?
