My cereal, I eat the alphabet kind, spells out words, and when those are spelt out I can hear screams from my house. One person was murdered in my house 20 years ago. Is this bad? I also once woke up with a huge cut running down my face. It's a nice house though, a bargain too.

So it's a good thing? It entertains me, because as the words are forming, I like to spin the letters around, then I hear a really low deep growling.

haha yea your cereal isn't possessed. something is in your house or following you and is trying to communicate with you. sometimes they have a weird way of showing it. sometimes it can even be puzzles.

well you can help it out. i'd do that. usually when a spirit is trying to communicate with you it probably means that they are trying to tell you that they are there, a show of their presence. but generally all you have to do is tell em that they arent welcomed and that they have to leave. if that doesn't fully work then get a house blessing.

OK...I think someone is pulling someone's leg here. Possessed food? I don't think so. I don't care how open minded you are...that dog just don't hunt.

Wow, you have to be the biggest skeptic on this website, but I suppose that is necessary. He probably worded it wrong lol.

uncle buck he probably just think that the food may be possesed but as i had pointed it out food can't actually be possessed. something on the other side is the one who is trying to communicate with him. maybe if you read other people's posts too then you wouldn't have to repeat what i said. but i understand what your talking about.

Jason,
You make it sound as if being skeptical is a bad thing? OK, I will admit that I might have come off sounding somewhat flippant. I should have qualified my statements and made an effort to provide this person with a reasonable explanation for what they are experiencing.
I see this as nothing more than a random naturally occurring act. I have sat down with a tasty bowl of alphabet cereal in the past and get a kick out of the words that come up. I do not associate this with the paranormal. I can say that anyone can do this with a bowl of cereal and will see for themselves that this is normal.
As for the screaming, I would suggest that it could be outside contamination. If you live in an urban setting, this could be reasonably explained. I would also check any vents in the home to see if the noises come from there. I would also check your home to see if there are any naturally occurring sounds that could be mistaken for screaming. Many of the things you might experience can be explained if you just take the time to check it out on your own.
As far as a person being murdered in your home that is definately going to give anyone who knows this fact a certain creepy feeling. Your brain is a powerful organ that can let your imagination run away with some strange thoughts. I think the fact you live in a home with the history it has, and the fact you hear a noise that your brain interprets as a scream can be terrifying. Don't be. Take a breath and calm yourself and check it out. You might surprise yourself that what you find is simply a natural occurrance.
I hope this helps with your understanding.
I also want you all to know that I am a skeptic and proud of it, but here is the kicker...I also believe there are things out there that we can not explain and are paranormal in nature. I have experienced some things I can not explain, but I investigated it and tried to find a reasonable explanation for what did happen. I did not take it at face value that if I saw a shadow that it was paranormal.
The name of this sight is Unexplained Research. We are in the business of researching the unexplained to do this we must use our brains and look at any evidence with a critical eye. There are too many people out there that believe everything they see or hear. If I bring up a piece of evidence of paranormal activity I want people to call me on it, and to show my process for collecting that evidence.
There is an awful lot of unknowns out there in the world, but to find the answers, we must be logical and critical thinkers in the process. Too many people out there think we are loony for what we do. If we show we are responsible and take the time to properly collect evidence and are not trying to pass off fuzzy pictures or orbs as evidence of paranormal activity, more people will start accepting what we do.
OK, I will step down from the box for now.

mark, i totally agree with you. usually when i read these posts i don't fully think out every little detail. but i can't fully be all like oh well its probably just your imagination. but i'll just help them out in trying to figure out themselves that it could just be they're imagination. although since im not the one who am experiencing what they are experiencing i just try and help them out as best as possible. lol hope that made some since. carrie

Carrie,
I fully understand, and you would be correct in your assessment that you are not there experiencing what they are. It is difficult, on the one hand you want to help people, but it is difficult with limited information. What is important is the fact you are trying to do good and help, that is very important and a rare quality these days.
When I post I am not trying to start trouble, I am just trying to get folks to understand that not everything we run into is paranormal in nature. We can be critical thinkers as long as we do it with compassion and not be critical of those who come on this site.

thank you someone that tries not to be rude but skeptical at the same time. u are so awesome. =] haha. but im the same way with the whole thing. i believe there are certain things that we cant explain. ive had a lot of things happen to me because i do have a stronger than normal link to the paranormal side. so i totally understand what u are saying.

I only meant that you might have worded the subject a little off. Since cereal is inanimate, it technically can't be "possessed" I am not judging you for anything you had to say... I don't want to seem like an not a very nice person.
