Originally from the Platteville area, You have Coffee can woods between Platteville and thingyeyville on old 151, Nodolf farm near the mound close to Platteville , Wisconsin Lore is a good book to check out, has a lot of information on the area ,
Yeah I'm from Cuba City. None of my friends or I could ever find the coffee can forest. I have heard multiple of different places that it could be. That house near the mound is like in someone's backyard so I don't think anyone can go there.

Coffee can woods is on the right, going toward D-ville-on 151 it's right near the trailer park. There is a good selection of newspaper articles in the Historic room in the library at UW-Platteville on the account.Remember they still haven't found the can with the head in it. The farm is at the base of the M-mound the house was last being used as a hay barn, and it's actually not to far off the road, LImestone building.
There are two mounds with letters on them, the large M mound a much smaller one , it's near this and Yes it is the right turn, the road will eventually lead you to the First Capital park site, and Belmont.
So is the house by the big m or the smaller one? I didn't know there were two mounds. Do you by any chance have a picture of the house? Because if we're talking about the same house I don't know if you're able to go to it or not.
Can you give me any more information on the coffee can woods so I can research or try to find stuff on it?
but you can find it mentioned on a lot of other "internet sites" that have a "paranormal theme" ....the way it's told in "Wisconsin Lore" is more of an "alien abduction" story, but it seems to have morphed into a ghost story over the years.
