Hi Bobbybuka
I check this site every day
Is it possible that someone else in the house found them and put your glasses there so you would see them?
Has any other activity been happening?

Just my partner and I live there....my first thought (of course) was that my partner had found my glasses and put them on the tray, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I started to think about somebody else having done it...I mean, a friend or relative who had been over at our place during the time when the glasses were lost - but that would mean that somebody would have had to come into the house Tuesday night when we were sleeping and that thought is more "unsettling" than a "paranormal explanation" (and we lock our doors at night anyway) so I really don't know what to make of the mysterious "eyeglasses incident" - I'm not losing any sleep over it or anything, but it is weird.
I can't say that anything else "significant" has happened (for quite a while now) - old houses always make strange sounds, but there hasn't been anything that I would say is "evidence of paranormal activity" or anything along those lines.
I'm glad to see you still do check on this site, swigs!!!

i guess if no one you know found them and put you glasses there and they weren't there this whole time. i guess you could call the situation not normal. so that means...everybody now....It's paranormal. lol let me know if anything else out of the ordinary happens

It seems to me that your "spirit" wanted to let you know that it was there and the fact that they found your glasses and left them where you normally put things, could be seen two ways, helpful and or malicious, (see I took your glasses, what are you going to do about it)or knowing you need them put them back. Seems like i have one here too, I am always misplacing things, I live in a farm house built in the late 1800's.

Lacey....("swigs") I'll definitely let you know if anything else happens!
The thing is (as I've said before) old houses do make very strange (but totally "normal") sounds all the time....tritne, you must have experienced this yourself! (seeing as how you also live in an old farmhouse) - the "footsteps phenomenon" for example. Wooden floors are constantly expanding and contracting - when you walk across the floor, you've "pushed down" on the boards and they "pop back up" later - sometimes very loudly!! So it really does sound like some unseen entity is walking across the floor....the same thing happens on the stairs, too. There are times that I'd swear that somebody is walking up the stairs - but I really don't believe this is anything "paranormal" in any way.....just part of the fun of living in an old house.
It really is hard to separate what's completely "normal" and what isn't.
