Back in the early 90's I had heard about Hilbert Road. The stories I had heard had to do with a young lady that had been murdered elsewhere and her body dumped on a side road on a road called Old Hilbert Road. After investigating where this road was, we found out that it was a fairly short road that ran parellel to Irish Road. This road at the time was very creepy and tree covered. The rumors were that you could see her body on the side of the road where it had been dumped.
We had made many trips in that area but never did see a vision, although negative vibes were often felt. We did however start noticing on another road N-S that intersected with Old Hilbert Road had an abandoned farm. The road's name was never discovered on road maps nor did the road have a sign on either end of it...the road also intersects E-W with Irish Road. This abandoned farm seemed to have a mind of its own about staying in one location on the property. Sometimes, and I note NOT EVERY TIME, the house and barn would move locations. One time they would be parellel to one another way back on the land with a very long driveway that always circled near both the barn and the house. Other times the house, that had no windows in at all, would be so close to the road that you could see the woodwork, peeling paint and cabinets. At these times the barn would be really far back in the field not even near the circular drive. You could only fit one vehicle in at a time before the drive curved whereas when the house and barn were parellel you could fit two or three in before it would circle.
We spent many drives checking it out alternating with driving Irish Road which in itself was very creepy. This road had land fog often that would waft across the road sometimes resembling people or animals. Of course this was just your imagination or nature, but it was creepy. Irish Road also has a cememtary near Chilton that gave off very uneasy vibes...this cemetary usually had alot of low lying fog also.
It is worth the drive to the area if you have time and gas to waste. I havent been out that way since 2000 so I don't know if the abandoned farm is still there. Happy Hunting if it is.
