Darkman, I'd be interested in hearing your story. I found out quite a bit of history on Witch Road (we live about 15 min. from it and have been there several times). Let me know if you, or anyone else, would like to know more.

where do you live??? the first time we were there was when everything happened , the last 2 times nothing happened except for the nausea feeling in the same spot. Yeah , you can't argue witha 3 year old boy if he saw a girl in the woods.

We live in Waupun. We contacted the owner of the property to get permission to walk the grounds. Now, according to the show we watched, your husband was taking pictures of the dilapitated house and your son saw the little girl across the road from there, right?
Well, when we were there, a man that lived in the area stopped us to make sure we weren't trespassing. He told us that it was his belief that the witch lived across the street from the house that everyone *thought* was the witch's. Does that make sense? Anyway, he said that his father-in-law had lived there for many years (50+) and said that he only saw the woman that lived there one time.
There's a gate there - which is locked and says "No trespassing". We went under the gate (since we had permission now...) and walked back along the gravel road. There's a big barn to the right. The barn is in sad shape - very run down. Then we noticed to the left, there was another structure. My husband checked it out and it was actually a house. My husband said that inside the house it looked like there were "cells" (small, sectioned off rooms). house. My husband works at the state prison.....
Then I talked to the owner again (she asked me to call her and let her know if we "saw" anything) and asked her about the structures. She told me that she thought that house was used to house criminals once upon a time.
Now, there were a couple of other people that I met up with while "ghost hunting" and one of the girls captured a picture on her digital camera.....it was very clearly a picture of a little girl leaning up against the tree. I have the picture if you'd like to see it - just email me and I'll send it. The little girl looks like she's dressed in Amish clothing (which is possible because Amish are all around this area). I also have a picture that I took where you can clearly see a face in the tumbleweeds.
My email is cewerdt@yahoo.com if you're interested in the photos.

Hi chrissy, the story from the show is a bit different from what we witnessed. My wife is the one who takes the pictures and I am the one who writes things down in a notebook. I felt the nausea feeling right across from the house and a bit to the west, not too far from the gate. My son is now 5 years old at the time he was 3 and a half when we first went there. yeah i'd like to see your photos. When i get the time i'll tell you everything else.

I found that Document on witch Road to be quite interesting. I have no doubt the little boy saw a little girl, I belive that ghost/spirits will show themselves to those who belive and those of innocence like Children.

My friends and I were driving down Callan Rd. with my video camera out the window recording. Now mind you, some video cameras such as mine can take still pictures, well mine did... on it's own. As soon as it took the still picture, we stopped the car. I had gotten out with a flashlight to see what had happened, and what did I see but a cross hammered into the ground. We stuck around for a little while to see if anything else would happen, nothing... As we were leaving, we asked for a sign of presence, and at the same time, all of our phones rang "Private." When we all answered, we heard nothing but dead air.
I have also seen the reported flashing lights in the rear view mirror.

I visited callan road twice now. We went once at about 11 oclock and we didnt see or hear anything. Does someone live in the house by the barn cause the lights were on in the house? it sure felt creepy but nobody saw anything. we had two cars with about 4 people in each of them.

Fishcer, which barn are you talking about. If you are talking about the house on the corner by that off road near the corner, then yes someone lives there. Another thing while I was there was, everytime I've been there, my friends and I always have smelled brownies. It was really weird.

Hi Darkman
I am from India. Saw this discovery program.
Can you tell me why the program choose to narrate a different version of the story ?
Also now your son is 5 years old, did he see the girl again ?
Regarding the nausea feeling you had, maybe thats because of some kind of gas around that area because of a swamp or maybe allergy due to some herb or flower.
If that place is near your house, please go there and do a thorough search, you can do that in day time also.
One thing is very important that when you go back there, remove the thought of a ghost from your mind all together.
Do not bother about a ghost, believe that this is just another normal place.
Let us know that you feel that nausea feeling again or not and please show us some pics of the that particular spot (picture of ground also) and place around it.
Can anyone tell me the actual story of this place, who used to live here and about that girl?
I cannot come down to America but would love to solve this mystery.
Ghosts are not something which will be just there because we think so, if there is a ghost really there then maybe some thing wrong has happened to that girl or she died before her time had actually come.
Everything has a reason.
Do let us know what you feel this time around.
Sunny

wickedsunny, chad narrated our story differently, probably to keep us anonymous, we have been there twice since the first time we were there in april of 2006, august 2006 was the second time and i still had the same nausea feeling as well as the third time we were there which was this past october 2007. There is a small creek or brook by the house, and yes water does give off energy, i'm not allergic to anything , in fact i love flowers and herbs. The place is an hour and a half drive from me , it is quite far, we have been there all 3 times during the day, the first time was at dusk . I am a high believer in ghosts , but have never seen or heard anything, just good or bad vibes and chills and nausea feelings. My wife did see a dark shadow dart across the street and she freaked out after that. the story is a woman who the towns people considered a witch live in a house on callan road between ripon and rosendale wisconsin. I do take gemstones with me and I see if anyhting happens , plus they are a good protecter.I am the one who writes things down in a journal and my wife takes the photos. There was road construction the first time we were there but no roads were torn apart, which usually is a sign that the townspeople are trying to deter you from going there by trying to get you lost.

Good luck to the townspeople. I live in central WI and used Yahoo Maps to get to Ripon in late Sept. or Oct. 2007 (I may have mapped it starting in Neenah, WI; as I had to stop there on my way to Ripon), and it directed me that way, down Callan Rd., which is the long way FYI. It made no sense to me and I found a much faster way back to Oshkosh/Hwy 41. Anyway, at that time I had never heard of Witch Rd, but I did pick up a vibe from it. Can someone tell me the whole story, or point me in the right direction??
