Hello everyone, I'm new to this site and have read a lot of your threads and its nice to know I'm not the only one seeing things out there. Everybody in my family minus my wife has had an incident in our house. Does anybody have an explanation why we would hear singing, almost like church hymnals at 3 am, or my recliner rocking and nobody is around to touch it. If anyone has any answers I would love to hear them. I also have a video of a door in my house closing and opening, I was the only one in the house. Any ideas? Looking forward to talking to some people very soon. ;D

I'm from Fond du Lac!! Have you researched the history of your house? If you need pointers on how to do it, email me and I'll help you get started.

Hi Kodiak, and welcome. I am not far away from you -- about an hour.
I find this site fascinating, and spend much spare time in dilapitated buildings and cemeteries when I can... I learned years ago I am quite sensitive to smells and odors (and then be left with the comforting feeling that I am not alone).
Curious about the history of your dwelling, has anything happened lately?

www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=7442915The sounds are supposedly coming from a black hole in space and has been heard in certain places like stairwells. I wonder if this is what you are hearing? If you have a camcorder try cam-ming the chair moving on it's own..Then again do you live over a underground stream that could be putting waves of movement undetectable by you ..but be picked up by your chair very slightly? Try this: it has happened.... it is interesting: Go to the earthquake site; www.iris.edu/seismon/and watch the earthquakes and as they move on the screen, sometimes your own house will creek emeidieteley after it was seen on the earthquake site. Lets you know you don't have to live where earthquakes happen and you could still be part of it.
