Hello,
Last Thursday I spent the night in the haunted Retlaw Hotel (Now the Ramada) in Fond du Lac Wisconsin. The hotel is thought to be haunted by the former owner Walter Schroeder.
I spoke with many of the staff members who told me that recently several guests have reported a feeling that someone was in their room with them. This feeling of something being in the hotel is the most common report the staff receives.
Nothing happened while I was staying there but I am still going over some of the data I collected and I will post some photos here as well.
Keep an eye out, Chad Lewis

I was at this place (when it was Ramada) years ago, doing camera work. I guess that was more than 6 years ago, but I often thought about this place. As for being there with much to lug around, there were long pauses in the elevator, and then outside of the reception hall area, I remember feeling strange... really strange... and not being able to put a finger on it...
I do remember one huge (in height) vase full of fresh flowers, falling over. No one was around it, but the band was playing and people were dancing... but still for the vase on the table on the other side of the room and no one being around, CRASH!!!!

I work for a dj service and every year we have our end of season party at the retlaw, numerous people have reported seing a man walk into the room where we always meet but when we go in there, its empty. Wealso have had occasions when the lights dim then go off then come back on again with noone by the switch, yes the retlaw is haunted just stay there during the week or on halloween. I talked to numerous employees that said they were cleaning rooms and could smell cigar smoke when nobody was there. In the rsteraunt known as CIBOS we have seen a man sitting at a table by himself when we turn back in just a few seconds hes gone.

My girlfriends step-sister works at the Ramada. I will have to pick her brain the next time I see her to see if she has experienced anything paranormal. I was on jury duty in June and the jury had lunch at Cibo's all week. By Friday, I had had enough of that place.

I talked to my girlfriends step-sister at a wedding reception last night. She told me that strange things happen at the Ramada on a regular basis, and most of the staff has had experiences. She was cleaning a room one day when a desk lamp kept flickering on and off. She walked over to check it out, and it was unplugged. She said room 717 gets the most paranormal activity in the hotel. She said when anything unusal happens, they just blame it on Walter.

I stayed at the hotel in one of the big suites on the 8th floor. The hotel room was huge and the layout of the room was like a nothing I had ever seen before with the hallways. It was pretty freaky and I am glad that my friend was with me. I don't think I could've stayed in there alone...

I'm going to try to sneek into room 717. The evil step-sister can show me the way. I will keep you posted.

When you check in if you ask about the hauntings they will give you a print out of all the stories; it's really interesting. I don't beleive there was anything on there about a suicide.
