How to tell if you have 'gifts'....

hi everyone, i like to share my thoughts on this subject. i some times dream of a family member or friend dead and they are still alive and like a week to a month later they pass on at first i didnt think anything about it but i do more so now and after they die they tend to vist me in my dreams its usually to give me a message to others or just to talk. i dreamed my cousin died and i didnt tell anyone and it happend a few days later it did kind of freak me out or an other note i moved into an apartment like two years ago and all the other rooms seem ok but its the bath room that feels like somthing isnt right.

my boyfriend was in the shower mind you he dont belive in ghostor anything and he said that he seen a light move fast from top to bottom and cause ti moved the shower curtain a little as it passed , he didnt tell me right off hend because he dont belive in this kind of stuff i also feel like someone is watching me when im in there so at night i would close the door because it was times i would see a shadow but i try to ignore it. i got a cat like tow months ago and i no longer feel uneasy and the bathroom any more can anyone tell me if cats or animals have some kind of affect on spirts or whatever that was i really would like to know!

Almost every female in my mothers family has premonitions or similar gifts. My mother doesn't, or she just blocks it off .But I get premonitions, mine come mainly at night or when I'm sleeping, but sometimes during the day. I also can sense things like if there is a bad presence.It used to be harder but over time I have gotten better.One of my ancestors was burned at the stake for being a 'witch', she had premonitions too, just a fun fact. If you have a gift careful who you tell, in Second grade I told one of my friends she and nearly the entire class , locked me in a closet and started screaming at me, but I hardly remember them, all I remember is the girl I thought was my friend pushing me in, and shoving a cross at me as if to ward me off. Just a warning.

U can't really tell if u have these girts, just when u have cool yet strange things happen. I'm a future seer and I can only see the future a few times when I am sleeping

I sometimes have visions of my ex-fiance the night before i hear from her (as mentioned before:and yes i hate it) and my greatgrandpa visits me around thanksgiving (just a talking to me in dreams thing nothing visual).
Other than that I just seem to be really open to feelings, and knowing when something is around. I wouldnt consider it a gift though just being sensitive to the other side

Psychic abilities are not gifts. Everyone has the ability, it is just that for some that ability is not strong enough to be noticed or remains dormant.
Anyone who honestly wishes to attain any psychic ability can do so with the right mental training and exercises.
I grew up having had many psychic experiences, from premonitions and astral projections to telepathy and telekinesis.
Though I was naturally psychic somewhat, I greatly enhenced my abilities through mental excercises and deciplines, BUT, it is like a muscle in your body, if you quite using it, it becomes weaker and weaker.

this message is to ghost writter ive had dreams like that since i was 6 i would dream some event was to happen it latter on it happened as i had dreamed it my aunt was a witch an could see things before they happened an could move things with her mind they say it runs in my family but i really do believe you can see the future in your dreams like me and it is a gift i have a cousin who can see spirits of persons that have passed on but like everything else in this world persons think your crazy of course so you keep it to yourself me i dont care what people think i know what i know

i have this other weird 'gift' if you can even call it that! when my grandma was in the hospis ready to die, i was sad. so 1 day we where there and i didn't wanna leave because i had this really really REALLY bad feeling so before i left i just went and kissed her fore head and said "i love you forever!" and left not even 4 hours later she was announced DEAD! I was only 11 when that happened. then exactly 1 year before my grandpa died i wrote a note that i was guna say at his funneral. and like 3 months ago when i was moving some boxes i found it and i asked my dad when he had died and he told me his funeral day!! how creepy is that!!

I have had a few premonitions and dream events which later the following day happen. But they occur so rarely that I wouldn't consider myself gifted. I figure everyone has the ability only some have more power and/or control of it.

I do, however, always remember my dreams. Once again, not necessarily a gift.

I'm not certain what other signs you could find to be able to tell if you. I suspect being able to see or hear the dead would be a "dead ringer"
