I was in Texas in April of 2007 and went for a ghost tour. There are actually a ton of places within walking distance of the Almao that have claimed to be haunted. I dont know the mans name but you could try looking it up. www.alamocityghosttours.com/TheHauntedPalaceTour.html we took a walking tour and he had equiptment and he knew alot. I highly recomend this tour. Expecially the walking tour. I enjoyed it alot.

I know there are plenty of places in Austin. I have had experiences at the Driskill Hotel in downtown Austin as well as many others. The Driskill is said to house the spirits of a little girl that fell down the stairs and a lady who shot herself when she was staying there but there are many spirits roaming the halls there. There is also a small town, Kyle TX, that is south of Austing by about 30 minutes. There is a cementary there that is known to by haunted. Especially in the back area because that is where it is said to have been the slave area. People, including me, have seen shadows moving and heard moaning coming from then "hanging tree". The tree is where many were hanged for there crimes and the moaning is said to be those souls that are still connected to the tree.
I hope this helps a little. I know there are a lot more but these are the ones that come to mind the quickest.

not so sure about this one... heard about it on tv... apparently there was a bus that was hit by a train on a road near san antonio texas. all the kids in it died. now the dare is if you put your car in nuetral on the train tracks, the kids that were killed will push your car over the tracks to make sure you get across safely. can anyone check it out for me?
