So I have been working at The Edgewater Hotel in Madison which is located at 666 Wisconsin Ave. Ever since I started working there I couldn't help but think that it must be haunted. There are two parts to the hotel. One section of the hotel is the original it was finished in 1948. The other section was added in the 1980's. The two sections are ajoined in a rather odd way, it is actually a bit of a maze, you can find the most random shortcuts moving from one section to the other. The Edgewater was recently purchased but remains under the same management. They are going to do a remodel to the whole property and add a 3rd section to the hotel as well. It's a nice hotel but I am sure it is going to be a lot more beautiful once that it is all completed. Anyways, when I first started working there I used to have to walk all the floors and check for used room service trays, sometimes it got really freaky. I never really experienced anything except for uneasy feelings. Well the other night I was talking to the maitenence man and he said that a few years ago someone shot themselves in the head in room 210. One night he was in that room doing turndown service and the door slammed shut. So I guess it is haunted. I am going to try to find out more info and I will try to get some photos

With the hotel name (Edgewater), the address number (666), and multiple transformations, this place should have paranormal written all over it. Good luck in your ventures, and be safe.

try to get prove that it's haunted and just remember the wind could of slammed the door shut or the door can automatically close if it's heavy. all im saying is the door slamming shut can be explained - try swinging it back and forth etc. i have stayed at hotels and the room door closes on it's own because it's made to do so.
I have heard that just because a place is old or a landmark doesnt mean it's haunted. Has anything dramatic happened over the years or have you heard stories/tales of paranormal activity while working there?
I have booked people at that hotel before and they havent told me any interesting stories. keep us posted ....
