I had found a job in Milwaukee after I graduated from Mid-state Tech i Wisconsin Rapids so I moved there first leaving Mary and the kids behind to sell our house. We ended up in New Berlin in an old house built back in the early 1800's it was considered a historical marker and my cousin was the owner. We didn't have any type of experiences there even though the setting for the house would have been typical for a haunting. We lived there for about one year then we moved to West Allis and live there for 2 years. We rented a house in Burlington and this is where we had another experience. I was laid off my job at Bucyrus Erie Mary had gone to work and the kids were in school it was just me and the dog. I heard heavy footsteps going up the stairs now this was about 9 am. I can hear something or some one walking around upstairs. Thinking that Mary forgot something I went up to help her. When I approached our bedroom I still can here something moving so I opened the door and to my surprise there was nothing there. I felt a very strong energy and I could feel my hair standing on my neck. I just turned and walk quite briskly back down stairs. We never had another experience in that house again. I found out that the previous owners was an older couple she was still alive and he died in that room but I was told he was a very nice man and I shouldn't have much to worry about. We moved from there after my heart attack to a house in Union Grove. We had a number of experiences here this house was a ranch style duplex with a unattached garage the couple that lived here before us was an older couple I found out she died in that house or apartment. There son lived in the next apartment so we got to know them quite well. They didn't believe in ghosts or so they told me. We kept seeing an old lady in the basement and when I told the neighbors about her and what she looked like his face went flush and I asked if he was OK. Suddenly a tear came to his eye and he said that was mom. He said she died suddenly and unexpectedly in her sleep as to why she was in the basement I have no clue. Her spirit never bothered us but we were still freaked out about it. Then we moved here in Redgranite right behind the quarry where a boy drowned here about 3 to 4 years ago. I never seen him but other people have walking around the quarry where he died. Then our first night here I had an experience actually 2 experiences. The first one I wanted to go to the bathroom but my wife was in the downstairs so I went upstairs. I couldn't find the light switch so I turned and looked on the outside wall when I seen it wasn't there I turned back and the light was on. I said all ready then and went back down stairs. That night we went to bed I heard a movement in our closet but just ignored it pulled the covers over my head and went to sleep. Now going back a few years before my heart attack I used to smoke and I saved my coupons called C notes from Camel. I had alto of them and I wanted to cash them in so I ordered a Camel lamp this lamp is very heavy and its not easy to move. I had this lamp on my night stand behind my C pap machine and alarm clock when I woke up the next morning that lamp was sitting on the floor right in front of my face the shade was badly crushed on top like someone pushed down on it while picking it up. I was totally freaked I woke up my wife and showed her.It could not have fallen down it would have taken my C pap with it and my alarm clock. A C pap is a breathing machine for people with sleep apnea and its not a lite machine either that lamp was lifted over that it had to have been there is no other way for that lamp to end upon the floor. My kids experienced odd things to like the lights turning on by themselves and doors opening, nothing bad just little freaky stuff. I found out from the neighbor that an older couple lived in this house all their life she died at the hospital and he was so distraught over her death he died a short time later. His name is Harry and I believe its his spirit that is here because when something odd happens we say stop it Harry and it stops. So I told Harry that he is welcome here as long as he behaves himself and I dint wish to see you. I was told he was a very nice caring old man who loved kids and really loved his wife. This house was built in 1910 when the quarry was in operation I'm sure we still have many experiences coming our way not that I'm looking forward to them LOL.
