Just to get a new thread going. I was wondering what some of the scariest sites you've visited in Wisconsin, are.
I am fairly new at "Legend Trips" (really didn't start doing them until last October), but I would have to say, driving Weary Road at night made me the most uncomfortable.
My weirdest experience had to be at Fulton Cemetery (west of Edgerton). I was shooting some video. I asked if anyone there wanted to say anything, and then my camera froze up solid. Couldn't turn it on til I was almost out of the cemetery (I know it's not much of an experience, but hey, I just started).

the scariest place, was at a haunted farm house that the team and i went to. odd things happened and when we went over the shootage/recordings what we caught scared the crap out of me but, it was a good "scary" if that makes sense??? it made me more hyped up and more interested in what we found.

For me, the scariest place (ever) was the house I lived in during 5th grade---but a lot can go on when you're 10-11 years old, and you have no idea what is going on because your own house is haunted. This was down in Missouri, though. And when we moved out, it wasn't because of the ghost, or anything like that---my family just couldn't afford to keep the house at that time.
As far as Wisconsin, I'd call it a toss-up between Dartford Cemetery and Summerwind Mansion. In both cases, I had seen the episodes of "A Haunting", and knew the histories of both (through my own research). With Dartford, I was walking around, and I had a feeling I wasn't alone....and off in the distance, I could hear little kids at play, especially when I was close to the mausoleum. (Thing is, it was a warm summer day, late morning, sunny, and the cemetery is in a residential area). Summerwind, I just had kind an ominous feeling when I was walking around up there. Then after 30 minutes, I began picking up the scent of orange peel (the same odor present when the poltergeist activity was ongoing) and then got a horrific splitting headache. I took that to mean that "they" wanted me to leave, so I did. When all my pics (available for viewing in "Personal Experiences") came out, I had 2 that had a mist/vapor in the pic, and then the one pic I took (right as I began to smell the odor AND get the headache) had a very distinct orb in the pic. Pretty freaky!
