Been there and checked it out a couple years ago.....
Both sets of directions are "spot on". I figured it out with a little bit of luck, some good old searching, and little help from a couple people. The guy that I got the most help from asked me to be respectful of the property and also the neighbors property and I think that's good advice to pass on to anyone going there.....
Another friend who's wife is a "sensitive" swears she told him the place was totally evil. I didn't notice anything at all but then I was there on a nice sunny Sunday morning - LOL!!! He told me that he had previous experiences there and some were like mine while others were a little more chilling. It's kind of like it has different personalities at different times and affects people differently.......

I have yet to catch up with all the posts here on Summerwind. I will say that OMW's photos are great. Dittos to all the other comments of thanks for posting.
Has anyone researched the "pre-history" of the West Bay Lake Resort and the land that it was built on? How about the Native American tie to this tract of land? Were there treaties broken or sacred lands desecrated and curses released? If Jonathon Carver's spirit has been behind much of the hauntings, past and present, why would he drive people to madness, suicide and financial ruin? Just some questions that have been rattling around in my head.
Also, if one wishes to visit that property; how does one obtain permission? Who currently owns the land?
Thanks in advance.
