More Durand-Mondovi UFOs

Here is an e-mail of another possible UFO sighting.

Hi Chad,

I am writing in regards to a possible UFO sighting myself, husband and 2 children seen this evening. It is probably easier to describe to you the experience either in person or via phone, but I can tell you this much, it appeared quite identical to the way the Mondovi family reported their sighting. It was triangle-shaped, had constant blinking colored lights (yellow, green and red), sometimes hovered and would disappear and then reappear miles from it's last location within seconds. As a matter of fact, it is still currently hovering over some fields near our home. We are unsure if any of our neighbors spotted it or not-we didn't want to call any of them as it was late. We first spied the UFO around 9:45 p.m., it is now 11:22 p.m.

This Mondovi-Durand sighting is getting pretty strange ...Has anyone reported these sightings to the Police or at least tried to see if any airports have had anything sighted on thier radar ect? That would be interesting to find out. Is the area which it has been seen, relitively in the same spot or near to it?....then maybe they can try to locate where it is comming from with the process of illimination.I know the Airforce has some new floating jets that can stop in air at very high or any altitude...saw it on a P.B.S. show. has any information got out about anybody building a new type of experimental flying machine ect /Personal air balloons...We have them in our area and see them alot and homemade planes too.

Well, maybe that can get a good start to an investigation of sorts. Good Luck!

I heard something from a Junior Member of the Mondovi Police Dept that someone confessed to flying balloons and a platform with lights in the area. Is that what people have been seeing or is the Police Dept. just trying to cover up something else? Only the shadow knows for sure.

If the Police said it was someone flying balloons trying to spook people....They are telling the truth! Wow! That is kind of funny! They probably are going to get a fine or a warning also, unless it was some kind of school project or something like that.Still ,we will have to see if any ufo sightings happen still since their confession.

The Courier-Wedge newspaper would like to do a follow up story on the UFO sighting if anyone who saw anything would like to call them or if the people who launched the balloons would like to fess up They don't have to use your names.
