My first experience with hauntings was at my Mema's house (she's my grandmother, its just something I call her). Its about a couple years after my Grandpa Bob died, and my brothers and I were over, and she was watching us (I was about 5 or 6) and I was in the garage getting a soda out of one of the fridges (one was for food, the other beverages) and so I was about to reach into the fridge when I felt this hand on my shoulder. I looked back to see who it was, and no one was there. I knew that the garage was the place where Grandpa Bob liked to be most of the time if he wasn't watching football or playing with one of us kids. But I had freaked out anyways, so I grabbed my soda and ran for the house. I told Mema what happened and she looked surprised. Soon after I had calmed down, Mema had me show her exactly how it happened. Well nothing did, when she tried it. Well a few hours later, my brothers and I were in the living room watching tv with her and we all saw him sitting in his chair. It was as if he was letting her know that he was watching over her.
My next experience happened years later at my own house when my Aunt Janice moved in because my Great Grandmother was hospitalized. Well I moved my stuff to the back porch soon after my Great Grandmother was put in the hospital. A few weeks after that I was laying on my bed, almost fully asleep, and I felt this rocking sensation. I thought "what the heck?" so I open my eyes, and there is a ghostly image of my Grandpa Leonard sitting in his rocking chair rocking back and forth. I couldn't move, because it had shocked me that bad. I never told my Aunt Janice about it, because I knew she wouldn't believe me. When my Grandpa Leonard was alive, he had a rocking chair that he made, and would sit in it on the back porch in front of the fire place. And when I had seen that image, the rocker and him both were in the middle of me and my bed. I will never forget that sensation.
