Wow, Uncle Buck. If you've been a police officer for 30 years, I don't think I have much to tell you about witness testimony, or evidence collection in general. I'm sure you're a good person to be investigating these sorts of things. And, a little ironically, probably a better person than someone with training as a scientist. Most scientists are used to experiments that they have a little more control over, that they can repeat, and that don't deliberately try to mislead them. (Scientists would still be good collaborators, though.

Greg,
My life experiences has helped me in this field to be sure, but it has also taught me something else just as important...always strive to learn new things and be willing to listen to others and their ideas. I always make it a point to try to learn something new everyday.
