Hello out there.
I use a Canon 35mm camera on my haunts and recently investigated the Modjeska Theatre in Milwaukee. Some pix were the usual with a dark background (not much light in the place) and close ups of seating areas, the balcony and the stage areas. On several pix, each has a different color: yellow on one, light green on another while several have an orange color and two with red. The color fills the entire picture but doesn't wash out or block the actual picture of what I shot.
One picture has several shades of green.
Now ALL these pix have "wild" lighting on them...some like ribbons, others with bent or "V" shaped lines, some vertical and others horizontal. When I took the pix I DID NOT move the camera around at all. One pic also has "V" shaped lighting but dead center the lighting part makes a loop. In all my years of taking pictures, this has never happened. I use 400 or 800 film speed and have a very steady hand.
The theatre dates to 1927 with a previous one on site. The only thing I did do was ask the spirits there to reveal themselves before I took pix, and to talk into my two tape recorders which I still need to finish analyzing. On the voice activated micro cassette, I heard a door open yet I was the only one in the place. (The owner let me in and came back two hours later.) After getting the film developed, there was a very noticeable orb about 3 feet off the ground by the door that creaked open. I did feel like I was surrounded by those of the past.
On one picture with the "wild" lighting and orange color, you can see the stage and screen with a man's figure from the shoulders down. No head. Up above the screen, there are three other men. Other pix of the screen have NOTHING on it but again, the crazy lighting and color.
Unfortunately I cannot post them online, but I would appreciate all your input as to what this could possibly be. And yes, I did take them back to Ritz Cameras for their explanation and they couldn't explain the weirdness of my pix.
If you ever look over pix taken from people who take night tours of various haunted spots in Burlington, WI (the Sci-fi Cafe tours), some of those with weird lights/lighting are similar to mine...only taken inside.
Feedback PLEASE!!!
Carol
