For the past eight years or so I've been relentlessly searching for a group or individuals in northwest/west central Wisconsin area that would be interested in visiting/investigating haunted places. Its a search that ain't turning up jack sh*t. Whenever I email paranormal groups about maybe tagging along for an investigation or basically anything thing at all, I never get a reply back. So, I figure I might as well throw out the idea on this message board about getting a group of people together to check out some haunted locations, possibly doing some over nighters. Let me know what you guys think.

We are a bit out of your area, but I would think that groups in WI do the same sorts of things we do with a few investigations a year that have 'open to the public' spots available or have public meetings. (I would suggest looking for teams with a Facebook page - these things are often announced there and not on the main website.) Regardless, if you do get a group of people and you need any advice, don't hesitate to message me or email us at: contact@fbnparanormal.com Good luck to you!

We and another team we work with are going to be doing a public investigation with a few Facebook fans once in spring/summer and one more in fall if everythings work out. Most teams do this on Facebook for their fans and is not generally anounced on the websites. So definatly check Facebook for some of your local teams.Remember to support them and like them for your best chance of being picked!

Hi midnite 1984. With Facebook, try facebook.com/paranormalgroups OR Facebook.com./paranormalactivity OR Facebook.com/WIparanormalgroups OR just Facebook.com/paranormalgroup If you play with it, you should eventually come up with what you are looking for. On Yahoo or Google, in the search box just type in WI paranormal groups or go to www.paranormalsocieties.com. Are you looking to join a group or start one yourself? You could post something on a paranormal website but be cautious. Some groups out there want you to sign your life away or else pay dues. I believe ghost hunting should be challenging and fun thrown in with common sense. If you want, private message me. Good luck and happy hunting! Carol - in Milwaukee

I've looked up "Wisconsin paranormal" and other phrases countless times on Bing before but it never occurred to me to look up "Wisconsin paranormal facebook.com". A very big thank you for that advice...I searched "Wisconsin paranormal facebook.com" on Bing.com and up popped many, many groups/pages that I've never came across before in all this time. Big Help! Thanks again. ;D

If you are near Eau Claire, you should check out Elk Lake Dam. I have been there and I think its one of the only places I have ever had paranormal occurances happen. I didn't actually see the ghost, but I had my camera stop working while onsite, and then mysteriously start working again after I left. That is one of the reported phenomena that occurs.
