Last night a friend and I were on our way back from Waukesha. We were on HWY Q. just East of Colgate, WI. We had just crossed the train tracks and were somewhere near Bass's Country Store and the BP Station on Lannon Rd. when I saw a big hazy form, probably about 6 feet in height and definitely humanoid in shape near the right shoulder. It moved out of the lane towards the corn field and then disappeared. I didn't say anything at first since I didn't want to freak out my friend who is really sensitive to the paranormal. But she stopped herself mid-sentence and says "Did you see that?". I knew we had both seen the exact same thing (my first apparition ever!) and a couple minutes of shocked silence when i got a horrible chill that ran through me. We realized the heat was on in the car but it felt ice cold in there. We both stated almost together that we thought that it might be in the car. Neither of us would look in the rearview mirror or for that matter turn to look in the back seat. Anyways, i just thought i'd share my recent experience while it was still fresh in my mind yet. Take care and happy hunting!

This reminds me of the apparition I saw. I was driving on HWY 14 in Janesville around 1:00 am. It looked like a robed woman walking down the side of the highway; she also appeared smokey. At first glance, I thought nothing of it, but then it hit me, why would somebody be walking on the side of the highway at this time of night? I stopped my car and looked back, but nobody was there. The experience really got my adrenaline pumping lol

it was weird too because we later went about a week or two after (i had looked online to see if there had ever been any accidents at that railroad crossing on Colgate Rd. and there had been, in like 1970 something and around 1980). Colgate Rd. is closed now due to the concerns regarding the crossing with the angle that it's on. We walked down the trail a bit at the end, didn't quite make it all the way to the crossing. The friend that was with walked over to the tracks and just stood still. As i walked over closer, things started to get hazy, like a fog was rolling in. We looked off to our right, and coming down the tracks was a single light, like a handheld lantern. it was moving slow like someone was walking along. She freaked out and we ended up making a run for it, but as we got further away we noticed that there was no fog. keep in mind this was close to 9:30 at night when this happened.
