Area Spiritual Speakers offer A Step Beyond
Remember youth camp when you went on a journey as a teenager and met new people to experience new things in life? You went to a new place, met new friends, explored new avenues of life, and shared new adventures. On the weekend of October 17 several Wisconsin speakers and teachers are gathering together to offer a Spiritual retreat at the Karsten Inn in Kewanee, one of the oldest working hotels in Wisconsin. “ This is like youth camp for adults. It’s a Spiritual boost before the holidays,” said Donna Dunbar, a licensed minister who has recently relocated to Wisconsin from the Dallas, Texas area, is helping to promote this weekend. “We have several wonderful and gifted people that are helping make this a weekend that people won’t forget.”
Included in the guest list are psychic Paris Drake, owner of Xanadu Metaphysical in Menasha, Lori Falk, Executive Director of the Soul Source Institute in Milwaukee, Deb Ruesch, a teacher of Spiritual Healing in Milwaukee, and Rachel Rohloff, host of the ghost pages on the W-Files website and investigator for Wisconsin Ghost Investigation based in Oshkosh.
Topics will include Numerology, personal treasure mapping, Angels and spirit guides, connecting with the inner self, and the ghosts of the Karsten Inn. Other activities will be also be offered to make the weekend a unique experience for all who attend.
“We’ve worked to keep the cost down to the minimum,” said Roswitha Heuer owner of the Karsten. “We are continually opening ourselves up to the community to increase awareness of the Arts and Humanities, and believe that this weekend will be a wonderful experience for all who attend.” Heuer had recently offered free booth space for a weekend to artists and crafters to share their work with the community.
The cost for the weekend for those wishing to stay in the Karsten will run from $90-$119 each which includes a two night stay, lunch, two classes, and other activities. Those wishing to attend may request more information by contacting the Karsten Inn at 1-800-277-2132 or email Donna Dunbar at karstenweekend@yahoo.com
