Hey, that's great that you want to get started. One of the first things that you should know though, is that this is genereally NOT something you can do as a 100% career. I'm not saying that its not possible, but its generally pretty difficult. If you are serious about this though (I don't know how old you are but) you may want to start looking around at universities that offer courses on parapsychology. In the mean time, start reading. This isn't unlike anything else new. When you start out, there's alot to know. You really need to get some good info before you can even go on your first hunt. There are a ton of great websites out there that can help you in learning all you can (for now) on the paranormal. Just remember to take everything with a grain of salt. Also, it wouldn't hurt to go on an investigation/hunt with an already established team. Hands on learning is often the best way, and most (unfortunatly not ALL) groups are always happy to educate others. Might I suggest, So. WI Paranormal Research Group. They are located in Janesville, Wi which is only about an hour from Beaver Dam. Here is their web address: www.paranormalresearchgroup.homestead.comLastly, try to attend paranormal confrences. As you can see on the front page of this site, there is one in Appleton (again not a bad drive from Beaver Dam) on Oct. 15. These are always informative, and fun! Anywho, I hope that helps. And remeber to be safe, and respect other people's property (both the living and the dead's!) ~peace out joel polkinghorne
