It's a glitch, I've looked at other map sites, and it doesn't appear anywhere else, just the google map.
The orange color also gives it away as a glitch.Let alone the fact you can see the parts that are pieced together to make the map when you zoom out.

there is so much that can go wrong with those pictures and any way if there was something that big in greenland the gov't would be all over it int 1 sec.

It looks like a glitch. If anything it'd be a fire by the looks of it, but there was nothing on the news about that. Its probably just a glitch. 'Nuff said.
