today i went to clarks true hardware, ed gein property, plainfeild cemetary and to eds grave, blood bridge, black bridge, boy scout rd, and clavin blood cemetary. near the anti freeze it was super cold. eds grave and property was not paranormal whatsoever. blood bridge was really fun and not scary whatsoever(exept jeffs dadjumped out at us, made me jump haha) black bridge felt like you were being watched. a train passed wen we were there. VERY LOUD!!!! good fishin there too lonn (jeffs dad) pulled a few tricks that we later found on the camera and wreked the rest of the day at boy scout rd. no one got out at calvin blood beacuse we were so scared. we went to rustys and then called it a day. calvin blood cemetary was very nerve-racking. it was so small and quiet any noise made you jump.. i have pics and video yet to be put on the computer that you can pm me for. im plannin for caryville next, we were gonna go today but we got up to late im hopeing to visit every place in the road guide. happy ghost hunting!! (the reason lonn wreked it was we were a little tromatized, 11 year olds doing what you guys do)

I have yet to see Ed Gein's cemetery area... or even where his mother was buried.
As a child -- very much your age -- I rode a bike on Ed Gein's property (or properly called his mother's property, as he lived with Mommy until her death). I had a friend who lived in Plainfield and I spent time at that house (across the road) for a few summers. Until his death, her family kept in contact, I was told, with him.
He died after I was out of high school, but I had a chance to visit with him with a family pass and was not able to due to nerves and being literally scared nutsless.
So some day I hope to make a drive back to Plainfield. To the bar, the hardware store and the two cemeteries that involve the life of Ed.
Ed Gein is the one murderer that I have followed the life on closely and I have every book in print on his life (that I know of). I will say it's all about Wisconsin History regardless what they say or think...
So... ComeaJa -- I want to see some pictures!

I have always had problems posting pics. But recently found www.kodakgallery.com and found it to work. I would copy the code and put this in front of it... <a href=" and then the code that was copied from the pic. And then to close off the code with "> So I put some pics on my on-line journal and then after a few days they disappeared and are now red x's. No idea why, but I always had the red x's after a day or less. And you will have to scan the pics and up load them to the site... I wish you luck! Dying to see the pics of Plainfield. Killing to go back to the village for a visit. BTW -- Jack... how long did it take you to get there? For me it will be a few hours. And with a 10 yr old who wants to go pay homage to the grave area of Uncle Ed. And a 6 year old who really would rather stay home and play with her mermaids. ~carpe diem~

I looked at that website and it doesn't look like it's meant for hosting photos that are linked to from offsite. They might be blocking your photos and just slow to do it. You might want to try photobucket.com instead. To actually show an image in a message, do this: type the URL to your photo (or highlight, copy and paste in). Then highlight it and click the little button above your message box that shows a tiny little computer screen. That will put your pic in the proper UBBC code (don't ask) that will show the photo here. I have always had problems posting pics. But recently found www.kodakgallery.com and found it to work. *sigh* Thanks Katie! Maybe that is why my pics got zapped from my journal site that I tried to post a few days ago? They were fine for a few days... and then all turned to red x's.
I figured it was all punishment to me as for having green skin and being evil.
So PhotoBucket is okay?? Nothing ever seems to work for me... so even with a few days of showing a pic I was happier than you could ever imagine!
