Wow! Breaking News! I was just at the store looking at your book will be buying it .Looks really good!! My kind of stuff you bet!...Also I have a good place for you to investigate...I already got some information that will drop your jaw! The Book store on main street in Marsfield acrossed from the M&I Bank is haunted..I just talked to the gal who is working there at this moment and she says both her and the supervisor have been under havock by a pranskter ghost that moves the magazines and pages are heard being turned in books ect! There was a stuffed animal that was said to be moved on it's own as they would go back to check on stuff and they would replace it just to find it moved agian. The place has an upstairs that is not used ever and they hear banging on the floor all the time and there is a creepy bacement that is very strange, though they do not use it.but there is a lot of torn up boxes and paper.Id check the wall and see if it has a movable wall as I have found in other buildings during my life.Maybe there is an undiscovered cave to other places. Also this same ghost has been siad to go to the bar down the road and is mad because they sold it...It has thrwon stuff at people and caused havock right there when someone was seeing the whole thing!I have heard this story many times from other people, but I am not sure if this would be the same ghost...They may have been friends since they where just seconds apart.I told the gal I would write you on this issue she siad that was fine. I am going to see if I can find out who the previous owners were and when the building was built and if it was built on any particular land surfaces..Marhfield was a swamp and then was also a logging village long time ago train tracks went everywhere in the town but are mostly gone except for those still working now. Say if you come to marshfield, that would be a good time to meet and say hi! and maybe I acn watch you do your investigating? That would be just Cool! Also a Bar not so far down was a hang out for one of Wisconsins/Chicago's Ganster's..They found some old gangster items in the wall when they remodeled the place. Oh Yes!! Happy New Year's to all! This gal has also told me of some haunted places I don't belive you have seen yet, though I don't know that for sure. She had a ghost tell her to move her car at a previous place she lived in ,Though now she does not..By the way she did move her car and a tree fell in that place three hours later...She spoke in front of other custumers with no shyness at all which tells me she very honest of the stories she talked of. I believe her and the store is a cool place, I believe myself there is something unique about the place, other then a place to buy books! Also she has a picture she has shown her boss and other people that has a christmas tree and a ghost stnding in front and one that looks as if it floating in back...The picture is very awsome I have not seen it but she tells me her boss says it is nifty and I siad to send it to you, she will hopefully do that.

*grins* I am glad to see this. Sure, I had my books in October, preordered them at October confr. in Appleton...
Just an awesome book... I might get one to keep in the car, for unexpected road trips (gave the others away, kept one of three)...
I wish you luck with this book. And did I hear that there will be a Part 2? Can't Wait! *jumping for joy!*
Happy New Year, Chad and Terry! Your book and this site are the best!

Despite the inclement weather and treacherous road conditions, dozens of people ventured out to Conkey's and Thimbleberry's yesterday for our book signings. We had a wonderful time meeting people, answering their questions, and hearing about their haunting experiences. 01/22/05 Conkey's Book Store in Appleton, Wisconsin Thimbleberry's Book Store in Marshfield, Wisconsin

the snow on Saturday was horrible. Half our city of about 36,000 was shut down...
and now I will wonder, when are you back in the Appleton area? I love Conkey's!
Nice pics, guys! You even smiled for the camera!

She would have purchased them from the internet..... Just thoguht it was cool to have it signed! I noticed that on the main page of this site they have listed right above their books that they have autographed books available. Did your mother purchase the books from this website directly?
