I just received a report from a man who went to Kate Blood's grave site in Appleton and stated that her stone was much warmer than any others in the area. So if you are planning to visit the site check for yourself.

The story and ghostlore -- the everything -- still keep me going back there and reading...
Chad, did you see the other Blood's that are buried close by Kate's gravestone? When you park in that area... it's up the hill a bit to the right of the Blood/Mueller plots... and right THERE. Easy to find.
I love going there. It's just tranquil and peaceful...

I actually went there today, touched the grave and did not notice any significant temperature differences compared to the other graves. Although I did notice a few odd red marks on Kate's grave...

my friends and I went there in October. I couldn't convince them to try and check it out later that night under the full moon though. I DID notice some red marks on the grave as well. here are our photos from that visit: 69.129.174.11/apache2-default/KateBlood/

I would just like to head caution to anyone that plan's on visiting the marker. In the past it seem's that some people have done some considarble damage to some of the grave stone's and other statue's in this cemetary, It would be horrible for someone to go there just to check out Kate Blood's site, and then end up having trouble if other damage had been done there.
We were going to check that out soon, But I got nervous as I don't really feel like getting in trouble with the police if someone else had been there before us wrecking thing's.
I would still like to check it out though, Everything that everyone has said about it so far intrugue's me to find out for myself. And luckily enough the cementary is only a 10 min drive from us. =)

I Checked out Kate's grave on 1/6/07. Didn't notice any red marks...stone didn't seem unusually warm, but I didn't touch a lot of other stones for comparison. What an interesting place it is; being so set aside and down by the river. Plenty of squirrels dashing through the dried leaves just randomly enough to startle you every time. The giant flame of some industrial plant was visible through the bare winter trees (see video). Nothing weird happened when I was there, but here is some footage of the location in case you haven’t been there yet. Yeah, that flame's from the waste water treatment plant, actually.

Need to review the footage and capture it, but I was back at Kate Blood's grave today with my DV cam. Someone had left a crushed rose, and a few small flowers atop it.
Found the other Blood graves in the viscinity, had a similar style of large marker, and smaller markers on the ground nearby.

Sometimes just lilacs or lily of the valley. I will think that the first time I went there... it was red nail polish, though...

Here is a little video that shows how to find the grave of Kate Blood. It's in the first section of the cemetery (Riverside is really large). Look for the road that goes down into the woods (but it is closed off)

Yeah, here is a picture I took not that long ago. This place seems like the only reason people call it haunted is because its hidden in a corner away from the rest of a really nice well kept cemetery in a run down older section...and the word blood is on the grave...I think im going to change my last name to demon,or kills, or ghost or something so people legend trip to my grave.

Hi all..
I have been to see Kate Blood's grave. I just had a feeling of thanks that people remembered her and a little sadness that she died so young. She died on a trip to Colorado for TB treatment. She also had 2 children but one died very very young, the other was still alive when she left for treatment.
Although it is a creapy area, I didn't feel anything bad there. I have had a out body experience and I can tell if there is activity somehere. I also have preminition dreams.
Happy hunting:)
