The ghost walk is on for Dec. 11, 2004, 4:15PM. We will meet at the
entrance to the Wiouwash Trail on River Mill street (off Arboretum
drive near Algoma Blvd).
In order to be a responsibile organizer, I've set up a web page for
the walk (and any future ghost walks) at
ghostwalk.sillybirds.com
There are two mailing lists I've set up there, one for general
discussion of ghosts and hauntings in the area and the other for
actual WALK REGISTRATION.
I just need to have a list of folks walking so we don't forget
anyone. If you don't get registered and still want to walk, it's
ok, but we might take off without you, or worse, no one else
registered either and the walk is CANCELLED!
Walkers under age 16 should have a parent along. Older teens serious
about ghosts and hauntings are welcome as long as they have a
parent's permission slip with them (I'll collect them!)
Also, I'll post new information about the walk there as the time
approaches rather than clutter up weirdwi with it. If someone
walking would like to do some research about the area and hauntings
then give a talk as we go, that would be GREAT!
