you know....I have never met anybody in my life that ever had any sort of "real" experience with a ouija board.
people just like to make up things....especially on the internet. and any time you've got a group of people gathered around a ouija board - the temptation to move it and "fake" a paranormal encounter is just too great! SOMEBODY ALWAYS MOVES THE THING!!!

I know you believe that Ouija Boards don't do anything, but I still can't explain the video I caught with my experience. I know it's just an "orb" which people believe to be dust or bugs, but I've been taking videos with the camera I used a LOT! I've never seen anything like that before.

I've also gotton video of orbs...I recorded one that is probably better than any orb I've ever seen on any "paranormal themed documentary" on tv, so I've really had the opportunity to study that one...
There were a group of us in the oldest part of the basement in my home (the section of the house dates back to the 1850's, and has a pretty fascinating recorded history) - and we were being very serious about conducting a "paranormal investigation" and this magnificently defined orb appears and moves around us - almost "playing" with us in a way - before vanishing into a wall...
I'm not exaggerating that the footage could easily be good enough for any tv documentary - and I've watched that thing over and over....
I'm convinced it's dust, and I'm also convinced that it is much, much closer to the camera lens then it appears to be when you're watching it...I think the fact that it's so close to the lens is what gives it the appearence it has....it's hard to explain clearly just writing it out like this.
disneydellsdude, I honestly don't want to mock your beliefs and/or experiences...I don't want to mock anybody who is being honest on here, but you also have to realize that people do just make up things on message boards like this.
if you honestly interpret the video of the orb that you recorded to be proof of a paranormal experience involving a Ouija Board - then that's what you believe.
I can't alter what you believe, and I really don't want to try - but I'd just like to point out that others could interpret what you recorded differently, that's all.

i tried to make my own ouija board once... and (surprise, surprise) NOTHING happened!!!!! i think that if you are going to use on you should buy it, not make one. they never work. but i also agree with ladyshadows... i've heard too many stories of people using them being haunted for the rest of their life.... i'd say stay away. i used it once just for something to do, but i won't use one again. one of my friends mom used one when she was a little girl, and she won't even tell my friend what it said. apparently a lot of weird things happened in her house, and as soon as they through the board away everything went back to normal ummm.... yeah they do work!!on saturday (12/13/08) i used my homemade ouija board with my cousin!!! it was AWSOME!!! We talked with this guy named Ed he said he was born in 1545 but i just thing he was messing with us!! cause in the 1500's nobody had discovered america yet!! but he kept making me and my cousin laugh cause he would just start to write random letters on the ouija board!! carrie p.s. my home-made ouija board works perfect!! its made out of wood though maybe thats why.......
