I've always wonderd about that because my Dad was a prison guard there for 30 years and icf you've ever seen the place it looks like something out of a horror flick from the outside I believe it is at least 100 years old and used to be Lincoln reform school for boys, My grand father bused to tell my dad (who was quite the troublemaker in gradeschool) to shape up or he'd end up there and 30 years later its been his career, My dad has seen it all there including inmates commiting suicide, killing each other etc, even Jeffery Dahmer was there a short period, Dads never had any real paranormal experiences himself, at least that he told me but there was always talk of little noises here and there and I'm sure o few stories. Also I have heard that Heritage hill next dooris haunted and that land used to be farmland owend by the prison and operated by the inmates. Just wondering what stories are arround.

I have sat on the ground a few years ago. Never been inside the building, that's a big "I wish..."
It's those who ride or drive the riding lawn mowers, while being heavily supervised, that give me the creeps more than anything... I was just glad I was in my car with the doors locked, watching the shift change...
For living close to there, I have never heard anything strange, other than happenings with real, live human beings of some type...

my ex BF was jailed there but, he never said anything about it being haunted. i use to visit him there and the building has obivously been there for a very long time and has alot history behind it. I surfed the web to see if anyone has ever posted or reported the prison being haunted...i found nothing on it, but that doesnt mean it's not. Keep us posted of any new info.
