I see an Elm Ridge Rd? It may fit the description, the photos from above look like there may be an area towards the end that would match the story?

Crazy! I was concerned that the road was not long enought to fit the 7 mile part of the story but I just noticed that there is a segment of the road that actually runs parallel to itself. I can't say that I have ever seen a road do that before?

Thank's omw!!! I found 2 Elm Ridge rds. Like you said they run side by side. I wonder the reasons for that. I didn't see east or west on any of them either. But the short rd could be close to 7 miles long. Their seem's to be a farm on the corner of sweet Rd. And Elm ridge Rd. I wonder if that person would know anything about the story? By the way it's nice to meet you omw

No problem, did you look at the satellite photo though, like I said above the shorter road showing on the map isn't really there. What do you think is up with that, it's rather odd?

Yah i see what your saying now!! Maybe the short road was the origional that dates back to the story. It looks like their are trees where the rd. Used to be. It may have been an old dirt rd back then. When they made the Subdivision, They may have moved the rd. over to another joining rd and Named it Elm Ridge rd. Back then. Back then it was easy to do stuff like that. Now you would need the DNR to ok it . Believe it or not. Just incase their is a animal life which includes bug's too. I have done work for builders who have run into that!! I wonder if the Delavan library would have any info on the Rd???
