We were going to go to dartford and on the way we called the green lake police dept. To find out their not letting anyone in after closing hours cause some people find it amuzing to wreck stuff in the cemetery. He told us give it sometime and hopefully within a month or so we can go. Its sad that people can't respect the dead and don't break anything. They ruin it for others. Every cemetery we go to has some headstones pushed over,y can't people leave it alone . I ever c that in a cemetery when I'm their, someone is going to b beaten. I can't stand that. So no dartford after-hours now. I hope they catch those responsible and maybe well get to go back soon. It suck was going to go camping by green lake to spend a weekend their, but not anymore I guess . Well just go to the dells I guess instead. Some people make me mad....

I agree, I feel bad enough just going to a cemetery when I am not there to visit anyone in particular. I get the feeling like I am disturbing them and I try to be extremely respectful; I try to avoid even stepping over where the bodies are buried. I would never be able to forgive myself if I did something like that. It's atrocious, it's totally bad karma, people who do it are asking for trouble and they deserve whatever comes to them.

I agree don't piss them off u never no what could happen. Don't get me wrong, I do touch some headstone ones that have been broken a long time ago and cause of grass, nature, and no up keep are very hard to read. And in all respect to help read the headstones . Just something to look @ and ah @. I always try to find the oldest ones in the cemetery. And they no where not here to harm anything,so I think its alright. But everyone that goes with me knows if u are along to f**k around and cause trouble don't bother comming long. Cause we will leave u their and call the cops when we leave. Just please people show some respect when visiting place like that.

No kidding. Like "omw", I always try to avoid stepping/walking over where they are buried and everything unless there is no alternative (for massively huge cemeteries). The only time I touch the headstones or something is if it is the one I am there to pay my respects to. Either I'll clear off the name from whatever is blocking it (i.e. leaves, snow, etc) or before I leave I'll tap the side of it a couple of times with my fingertips (kind of like a "high-five" or shaking hands, in that regard). My feeling is that since I have no ill intent in that instance, they realize I'm doing it out of love/respect/homage.
But yeah.....it's the vandals who show no respect for the dead who ruin these visits for everyone else. Jerks.

usually when i go to a cemetery i tend to tread on eggshells. first and foremost, as soon as i get out of the car i usually stand for a few minutes trying to get a feel for the surroundings. Then i usually offer some sort of prayer for protection as well as to make known my intent. I also will never walk over where the bodies are buried. However, i set foot in cemeteries so rarely...I usually prefer investigating things like roads and bridges

thats a shame.. when we were there over a month ago the police were cool to let us in for as long as we wanted.. why vandalize a cemetery thats just wrong...

Yeah I was actually watching a tv show called A Haunting and that is where I learned about this site and this exact place. It was this legend that was on there and I got really interested into watch that show and getting into this site, I am even getting into the busting of legends. My father and I want to go out to Ringling Road and look around now.

Also, these people that go around and do that kind of stuff to the gravestones and that, they need their heads smashed together, its stupid to do that. I hate people like that. It's totally disrespectful to the people buried there and to the families of the person that is buried there.
