Last year I made a post about being on a Wisconsin Bike Trail (Red Cedar)- and seeing some bicyclers go around a curve. And when I went around the curve, I could find no trace of them or anywhere they could have gotten off. I remember being kind of shaken about this, but I did not go back to the spot I had originally seen them "disappear". THIS year I did. And I noticed that there was indeed a turnoff they could have gone down - that for some reason I missed last year. My error last year was in not retracing my steps and trying to ascertain what had happened. It is a good lesson for me (and anyone, I suppose). If you think you see something unexplained, you should try to retrace your steps or return to the place you saw it, if possible, and try to calmly think it through and look for another possible explanation.
