Ive been their. I did not go inside. Its an eerie place. Its not haunted though. You may be thinking this by the " 30 murders " but the murders arn't true. I know in the 30's their where knife fights in a bar acrossed the streets, but they might have dumped them their. Not sure. Douph it. Persanaly I think the old Wabash Alloys look a tad cooler acrossed the street. You can veiw them on my flickr. my name is Urbexing on their. I would not recomend going. Theirs an INSANE amount of asbestos and other hazards. If you want, I can give you more info. I know deviantART.com has some pics of the inside. Just type in Peter Cooper Glue Factory.

My Great GrandMother worked at Peter Cooper when it was still operating at the time... She told me how she would sometimes would have to stop production cause people fell into the Grinder and died or died from some other work injury. She stated that this place had a weird feeling about it everytime she worked. She worked there for 15 years until it closed.

Has anyone out there heard that before the place was the Peter Cooper Glue Factory, it was an army base? Also, there is construction going on...heard they are building condos and apartments. If anyone has recent pictures, PLEASE post!
Thank you,
Carol

Believe me when i say this, the Peter Cooper Glue Factory, while definitely interesting, is certainly not haunted. I would not recommend even attempting to go into it. Between the asbestos and all the other hazards, you'd be better off not dealing with it. During summer some friends and i had attempted to get up close to it and couldn't even get past the barbed wire fence. Also, even if you did get in, you still run the risk of getting caught.
