Despite the inclement weather and treacherous road conditions, dozens of people ventured out to Conkey's and Thimbleberry's yesterday for our book signings. We had a wonderful time meeting people, answering their questions, and hearing about their haunting experiences. 01/22/05 Conkey's Book Store in Appleton, Wisconsin Thimbleberry's Book Store in Marshfield, Wisconsin

Yes, Hans Holzer is one of our first choices as well, and we have been trying to get him as a guest.
Elaine Mercado is another of our top choices, and I recently spoke with a representative from Llewellyn Publications who was going to arrange this for us.
We are looking into the possibility of syndicating The Unexplained to other radio stations in Wisconsin and Minnesota, so hopefully it will be available in your area soon.

For those of you who live within Eau Claire, the community radio station WHYS 96.3 FM is now on the air. Chad and I will be returning with The Unexplained paranormal radio talk show probably sometime in May, and we hope to have archived episodes on our website for everybody to listen to. www.whysradio.org/

Don't miss the television premiere of the new NBC series, Medium, starring Patricia Arquette, which airs tonight. Check your local listings for times. Kelsey "Frasier" Grammer is the executive producer, and the series is based on the life of the world-famous medium, Allison DuBois. Allison has been a guest on our Unexplained radio program, doing live readings over the air, and she even wrote an endorsement for our book, The Wisconsin Road Guide to Haunted Locations. Chad and I recently wrote a blurb for her new book, Don't Kiss Them Good-Bye, as did her friend Kelsey Grammer. www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0976153505/qid=1104783585/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/103-9420029-6607065?v=glance&s=booksCheck out the new series, and let us know what you think. www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/news/articles/0103medium03.htmlwww.newsday.com/entertainment/tv/ny-ettel4102860jan03,0,5534989.story?coll=ny-television-headlines

Saturday, September 25th, was a sad day. WOLF 108 had their final broadcast and went off the air. We appreciate the fact that Snarl believed in us and gave us the opportunity that he did. We wish him the best in his new endeavors. Currently there are new LP radio stations in the works for Eau Claire: - WHYS 96.3 FM
- WRFP 101.9 FM
- WIEC 102.7 FM
Hopefully the Eau Claire community will be supportive of them, and "The Unexplained" will be back on the air soon.

Thanks to everybody who has contacted the local radio stations and asked them to carry "The Unexplained." Chances are we will be able to continue "The Unexplained" on WHYS 96.3 FM once that station becomes operational. However, WHYS, like WOLF, will be an LPFM or Low Power FM station, which means it will only be heard within the Eau Claire city limits. Most of our audience for "The Unexplained" have been people from around the state who listened to the archived episodes. Many of them have told us that they would like to be able to listen to us live and to be able to call us while we're on the air. That could happen if Wisconsin Public Radio decided to pick us up and syndicate us around the state. If this is what people would like, then I would encourage you to keep writing to Dean Kallenbach at WPS kallenbach@wpr.org to let him know that you, the people, want to be able to hear "The Unexplained" from anywhere in the state over Wisconsin Public Radio.

During the nine months and almost 60 episodes that we were on, we gained a substantial following of faithful listeners. Each week we discussed fascinating topics and interviewed both locally and internationally known guests, including psychic Peter James and ufologist Stanton T. Friedman. We also kept you updated with the latest paranormal news, both international and local, such as our investigations of the Mondovi UFO, Cumberland Bigfoot sightings, crop circles in Tilden and Wausau, and numerous hauntings. In addition, Richard Hendricks of Weird Wisconsin kept us entertained and informed with his monthly segments. Also, you the listeners made an important contribution to the show with your phone calls. If you enjoyed listening to "The Unexplained," either live or through the archived list, and would like to see the Midwest's only paranormal radio talk show continue, here's what you can do. Contact the local radio stations and ask them to pick us up. You can email, write, fax, or call them: WHYS 96.3 FMP.O. Wolf 'Snarl' Snider, station manager at WOLF 108 FM, has announced that he has been hired elsewhere, and all air shifts and specialty shows will be terminated as of Friday, September 10th, 2004.
There will be no show during Labor Day Weekend, so what this means is that Monday, August 30th was our final show.

Our friend Richard Hendricks sent this message out to his newsgroup. --Terry __________________________________________
All --
If you're in the Eau Claire area tonight, you won't want to miss Chad Lewis & Terry Fisk's THE UNEXPLAINED radio program beginning at 10 pm. Tonight promises to be one of their wildest programs yet.
In the first half hour, is Eve Bruce, plastic surgeon & shamanic shapeshifter & healer.
In the second hour, I'm making my monthly Weird Wisconsin appearance. I'll be talking about voodoo -- or, at least a twisted version of voodoo -- in Wisconsin, including voodoo death plots in various locales, ranging from Madison to Sheboygan county to Douglas county to Eau Claire, and several points in between. Weird, weird stuff.
Then I'm turning the tables on the guys, and interviewing them about their own Iowa Death Trip yesterday. It's a crazy tale of Iowa crop circles, monsoons of biblical proportions, four simultaneous near death experiences, sacrifices to the corn god, and getting run out of a small Iowa town. Throw in a couple of black helicopters, bizarre crop formations, and phone calls from 'men in black' -- you won't want to miss it.
The the final half hour closes with Leah Haley, a Tennessee alien abductee and contactee.
For info about the program, check out Chad & Terry's site under Unexplained Radio Program:
<http://www.chadlewis.com/>
If you can't listen live, the program should be available on the web to listen to at any time within a few days.
Schedule:

Follow the July schedule links for the archives.
