If you enjoyed the "Legend Trippers" episode on the Discovery Channel program A Haunting, please contact the development director, David O'Donnell, of New Dominion Pictures, at david.odonnell@newdominion.com and urge him to produce a Legend Trippers television series. If you would like to see Chad Lewis and Terry Fisk host the program, suggest that to New Dominion Pictures. Be sure to put "Legend Trippers" in the subject line of your email.

For those who are uncertain as to what Legend Tripping is, here's the Wikipedia's definition: Legend tripping, in the folklore of the United States, is a name recently bestowed by folklorists and anthropologists on an adolescent rite of passage in which a usually furtive nocturnal pilgrimage is made to a site which is alleged to have been the scene of some tragic, horrific, and possibly supernatural event or haunting. Typically these places involve a dare. If you know of any locations like this, here's the place to share them with us.

We've started research on The Michigan Road Guide to Haunted Locations. In the U.P. we visited a haunted lighthouse, orphanage, cemetery, and other locations.
Are any of you familiar with any allegedly haunted locations in "the Wolverine State"?

This photo, submitted by my daughter Stephanie Blad, was taken in Spring Lake Park, Minnesota in October of 2004. My first impression was that this could be a swaying Halloween decoration suspended from the ceiling, but she assures me that there wasn't one. Any thoughts?

This photo, submitted by Vicki Bennett, was taken in Winona, Minnesota in December of 2004. My first impression was that this could be cigarette smoke, but she assures me that nobody was smoking at the time the photo was taken. Any thoughts?
