calm down holly. dont make me get the hose. lol is this what is going to happen tonight at Heidi??? lol ;D the proof??? Im talking press conference on CNN, the creature standing there or death....some DNA expert stating "Yup, this is a new species and we call it *pause* Big...Foot. we got this one and we have a few others trapped in the forest. dont worry we are keeping them entertained with bananas and ropes to swing from". thats the proof....any other stuff out there is completely skeptical...Im like the rest of the non-believers i need Actual Proof...not something that someone "claims" they saw and cant be for sure it's what they claim it is....sorry reading an article wont change my mind or the world that it's real.

you never know about these things...my friend and i have a theory he is and alien...JK! i believe i saw a big foot. there was no way that what i saw was a bear. it just wasn't. a bear would have been able to be so quite. the only reason i noticed it was the dog was barking.

Of all the cryptids, bigfoot has the best chance of being the real deal.

I believe in bigfoot. They've found foot prints of him, fresh in the mud. and when they were examined they couldn't be explained. They were way to big to be human feet or a combination of human and animal. and when they were found they were vcery recent and fresh.

Agreed, this is one I'm skeptical of. It's a nice story, but it has too many loopholes for me to consider it real or not. ANYONE can put on stilts, a fur suit, and oversized, ape-like feet, get an accomplice to hold a camera and record them, and prance around to give people the heebie jeebies.
My belief remains 50/50 until some hard evidence is found, and not just a footprint or some hair. :-\

Now that you put it that way, your right. I never really thought of it that way. I still kinda believe in it but it's defenitly open to questioning.

i really don't think people will find proof that most ppl want any time soon. i mean, if he has lasted this long with out being found, who knows how much longer he will.
*yes, i still stand by my sighting!*

WHAT A GREAT TOPIC!!!! I wish I would have jumped into this discussion over a year ago when it seemed to be "active"....but I guess "better late than never".... OK...what most people never seem to realize is that we're not really having any kind of discussion about "The Supernatural" when we're talking about "Bigfoot"....the person named "bradc1014" made the best observation of this when he said: I guess I am not understanding your request.. You want proof why it exists. I just posted a link to a website that offers much evidence of a Bigfoot existance. If we had absolute proof of its existance, there would be no place for it on this board. Not much paranormal about something if its been proven correct?? We dont see a forum on this site for goats or skunks right?? If "Bigfoot" is "real" - all we're talking about is a species of ape that is native to North America, and has remained "undiscovered"... I, personally, also find it hard to believe that an entire "breeding population" of an unknown species of ape could remain "undiscovered" within the US today. That whole term "breeding population" - it refers to the numbers of the animal that would have to exist in order to perpetuate their existence....you couldn't just have a few "Bigfoots" here and there, they would have died out long ago. (by the way, is the plural of "Bigfoot" - "BIGFOOTS" or "BIGFEET" - ?? ) So there would really have to be thousands of them....and I have a very hard time believing that thousands of these "creatures" are out there, but nobody has shot one yet...or hit one with their car....or just been able to "trap" one somehow. I wonder if this species of ape did once exist? (Native American cultures believed they existed...and didn't Teddy Roosevelt claim to have seen one once?) My thoughts are that this could have been a "real" animal, but they became extinct due to the expansion of the United States...their habitat and food supply would have decreased as the Europeans flooded North America.

In my opinion it's a man with gigantism, no social skills, and a rare skin disorder, that's all!
