Saturday morning at 3am in the middle of a thundersorm I found myself on the southside of madison at the intersection of the Beltline and Stoughton Rd. I was alone and I decided it would be a good opportunity to head south and finally check out Dryson Rd. Although it was barely raining there was 360 degrees of lightening surrounding me. Nothing odd happened but I did enjoy seeing the old one lane wroght iron bridge, it is awsome and erie. I would also like to point out something I saw there. After you go around the curve and start heading towards the bridge there is a light at the end of someone's driveway that looks exactly like a single headlight especially when I was heading back and I saw it through the rear view mirror. Also it's odd how many there was a radio tower out there at the start of the road, just like Weary.

I went to high school in McFarland in the 80's and don't recall any stories about the bridge. Spent many times there at night underage drinking, shining for deer, etc.
Most likely a rustic road reputation.
