Just a quick story about Lowell, WI. On October 20th 2009 my friends and I were going to see a movie. As we went down the street by his house there was alot of lights from police cars and first responders and an ambulance etc...We drove past this commotion slowly and when we reached the end of the road my friend driving alerted us to a little girl standing across the T intersection. She had very black hair in an older style and appeared to be just standing and watching down the road. Her blouse appeared older with flower "print" if thats what you call it. She didn't look away even though we had our headlights directly on her, just kept staring.
Now as a former Police Officer and current Corrections Officer it's almost like second nature for me to notice the little details. Some things I noticed were that she was standing in the church lawn with no other houses around for about a block. Just standing in the grass. And the kicker for me was that she didn't have any shoes on. I recall it was cold enough that I wore a jacket that night, but there she was barefoot.
I also am pretty sure that the cemetery was behind her, but have not been back to Lowell to check it out.
My friends both appeared freaked out but the passenger did roll down his window to say "Don't do that" (as he is the jokester of the group). All of us were freaked out and talked more about it on the way down and back home as well. My friends father told us that the man in the house with all the EMC wasn't doing so well. Maybe she was there to take him back. Who knows. Just my little story.
