I recently heard about the Pettibone Mansion in La Crosse, but all I know is that it is haunted. Since it is up for auction I went on a tour of it. I'm just wondering if anyone knows any more about this house, since a friend of the family is looking at biding on it.

Well they accepted a bid on the house from an out of state; anonymous buyer. The plans are they are going to fix it up, as close as possible, to the original condition. Which if you're looking for ghosts can always be a good thing cause construction and remodeling has been known to stirrup paranormal activity.

really? do you know how much the house went for? i guess $2000 got you in on the bidding, so it probably didnt go for much. I know how construction affects places like that, and i can tell you there will probably be a lot of activity when the do start fixing it up. i took a tour of the house and there were two places where I felt something weird.

I read it on Lacrossetribune.com They didn't say how much it went for. I can't believe that $2000 got you in on the bidding though; wow thats so cheap.
