I'm curious to hear other peoples personal stories there are those close to me who have had some weird ones and I was curious to hear other peoples who are willing to share.
Like my friend had been out side and thought she'd heard me come in and come to find out she was totally alone in the house. or. . . I've litterally slipped on carpeted stairs but upon looking down I saw a set of wooden steps and thought i was going to hit my head even though i'd already caught myself.

Very resently I had another weird experiance. A man and a woman in period clothing materialized while I was driving and nearly caused me to swerve into a parked car. Has anyone else ever had that happen?? I'd love input!

Many years ago when I was in the Army, I was on graveyard patrol with my partner (I was an MP). I was driving and my partner had laid his head on the back rest and was getting a little shut eye. I was driving down a deserted part of the post, and admit I was a little tired myself. As we came over a rise in the road, the headlights of the vehicle I was driving lit up a soldier standing on the side of the road. I started to slow and was going to pull over just past him, when he stepped right out in front of me. I swerved and slammed on the brakes. I thought I had hit him, and needless to say, my partner was not too happy I bounced his head off the passenger window. I told him I hit someone, and bailed out of the car to give aide. Both myself and my partner looked all over the road and nearby brush and could not find anyone. I checked out the car and found no damage, and there would have been damage. My partner thought I was nuts, but I knew there was someone there. I could describe this guy to a tee, I knew what I had seen. We searched around for about 15 minutes, even looking under the car; nothing.
I don't know if it was because I was tired and was in that state between sleep and awake, and my mind just played a trick on me. I knew that the post had soldiers killed, but I never followed up on the history of this particular piece of road, so I have no idea. Could it have been a ghostly apparition, or just my tired brain? All I can say is it was very real to me.

There is something about driving a deserted area in the middle of the night.
My wife and I were driving in northern Nevada at about 2:30 in the morning. (This was about 3 years ago, we had visited a friend in Oregon and were driving back to Omaha.) She was fast asleep but I really felt fine, not even drowsy. I turned a corner at a T-intersection and there was a Coyote standing in the middle of the road staring at me - I edged toward him, assuming that he would just move when I got close enough, but he didn't. I thought it was pretty strange so (without taking my eyes off of the coyote.) I reached over to nudge my wife awake, then he was just gone - though I never stopped looking at the thing. Of course, she didn't see anything and by the end of the trip I convinced myself that it was justa normal encounter with a coyote and he had managed to slip off when I blinked.

Thank you both I believe Mark even though you were tired that that soldier was really there. It makes me wonder if it's a residual of a man who committed suicide by car. And fbstephen It may have been a guardian spirit trying to warn you of something. But don't take my word on it a pegan friend of mine told me this. To be honest I've had something similar happen but it was a red fox sitting in the back seat of my car and when i looked back to actually see it, it disappeared.

Had another weird experience. I was helping my dad paint at a physical therapy building and had a strange feeling coming from one of the rooms we had just painted. All the lights were off except for one clear at the other end of the hall. As I walked past the room a shadow shifted and I thought is was just my mind playing tricks on my way back past the room I saw a very angry woman in 17 or 18 century period clothing with a noose around her throat and had my fiance tell that the ground the place was built on used to be all farm land. The poor girl couldn't have been much older than me and seemed to get mad only when my fiance was near the room. Can anyone explain to me why that is??
